unique items *no longer updated*

We will soon post a developer diary that discusses the unique item design at great length. I can mention right away that there are are many types of unique items that caters to different types of situations, and to different types of players as well.
Some unique items are meant to be used mostly early in the game, some can be powerful in some end game situations, some can help you take very non-traditional builds further, some are made for a big "wow" factor, or, some can just be very flavourful and reveal more about the lore. Most items fall into more than one of the above categories (and I probably forgot a few categories as well!). That said, this is still a beta, so any suggestions and feedback on the existing unique design philosophies helps a lot! Omnitect of Wraeclast

It does look nice. More than just a recolored or slightly altered skin like some of the other items.
Haha.. can you imagine if they make more Fairgraves items? We'll have a bunch of pirates/buccaneers/corsairs running about. |
