It's only best in slot for low life builds, or for people who can't move out of poison clouds.
Everyone read this. Please for the love of God.
No hp doesn't actually matter though, and resist is only relevant if lack it on the rest of your gear. The bad ES is a pretty big deal though assuming you're giving up 400-500 ES compared to a full ES chest.
Then you can slap on a prism guardian and run THREE 40% auras at no consequence, pick up pain attunement, and bam: Combined with righteous fire, you're doing around 130% MORE damage than any other build without those perks.
Again, people seem to make the same mistakes with MORE/LESS. MORE/LESS mutiply off each other, they do not add to each other like "Increased" does.
Your spell damage (100% base + other "Increased" sources)*1.3*2.05.
You are wrong. 1.8 (righteous fire) x 1.3 (pain attunement) = 2.34. hence why I said 130% MORE damage.
does the 15%+ damage ring include ALL damage
like psychical, magic, elemental and minion or totem
It increases all Damage you deal, regardless of type. All your skills will benefit; Attacks, Spells, Totems, Mines, Traps. Minions have their own stats and thus their own Damage, and do not benefit.

Mines and Traps are likely unaffected, as they are not damage that you deal (which is suggested by the fact that they still work with Ancestral Bond).
How do you use Righteous Fire without dying really quickly? I'm running a low-life ES build and would love to know how to make use of RF for the bonus spell damage.
