No, people won't always want to upgrade gems. They might want to keep them at a lower level to keep the mana cost down, or so they can swap that gem to another character which might not have enough stats to use a leveled one, or because some of their stats come from items and if they level the gem then it's requirements will be higher than their base stats, meaning they couldn't use the leveled gem if they replaced those items with others which didn't give stats.

One does not gain any attribute points per level (besides by spending your skillpoint on an attribute node).


But regarding the attribute's passive boni the mechanics thread's information still holds true (displayed ingame as follows):

  • Intelligence grants +1 Mana per 2int and +1% Energie Shield per 5int.
  • Strength grants +1 Life per 2str and +1% Melee Physical Damage per 5str.
  • Dexterity grants +2 Accuracy per 1dex and +1% Evasion per 5dex.

Thus:

A trade window has not implemented yet.

As somerlot says, there's no trading interface yet. You just have to drop stuff on the ground outside of town.

A proper trading system is in the works.
Nice tips, I'm downloading the game.. will report any issues if occur :)
