Your concerns about invitations

You all knew that keys would be given randomly. Many even specifically demanded that they be given out randomly with no preference for account activity. It's funny how things like that can change suddenly. Just sit tight. The beta invites will be running continuously for the foreseeable future.

Funy things are just funy! You have ben in that 10% that care and got invited gratz but talking with that arogance being relaxed and happy makes you blinde already!

Cool now you are in beta with uther 10 people from the first wave that will actualy play the game+the rest from alpha.

Wot about the rest of us?

more like 80% :P
But still too high imho.

If you consider the math, About 3% of accounts have ever made a post on the forum. So if you're right and 20% of accounts given a beta key have posted on the forum then that's about a 6x weighting placed on forum participation. That's pretty substantial.

I know nothing I say is going to make you feel better that you didn't get one of the first beta keys even though the odds of that were incredibly low.

How many people can get beta key??
Thanks for the info Chris!
Relax guys. It's a beautiful day.

And random is random. You can't change it.
I agree... a large selection of the people selected for the beta, does not appear to be active at all.

Even more so, this post (also quoted by cally2k above) shows how people cheat and successfully increase their beta chances by creating several (inactive) accounts...

Wouldn't a system like this be much more fair:

1. Divide the pool of forum members into an 'active' and an 'inactive' section.
2. Decide whether to take one from the 'active' pool (90% chance) or from the 'inactive' pool (10% chance).

For the second time, after making a thread, will my account not being verified effect my chances of BETA?

If I don't get answers, I might feeling a bit DDOS'y

Really angery because I've waited since yesterday for an answer.

PS. 40 e-mail, you really are a greedy f**k.

Well, account not verified means you don't have a verified email address to send the beta key to. Yes, I think that will indeed affect your chances of getting into beta...

I think it should work. When creating your account on a forum. Its inserted in the member database even if you do not Verify (From past experience running forums)

Ask Chris to be 100% sure.
