i would rather say it's quite unfair that people with many posts and great forum activity do not receive the beta keys.
Are you so sure Chris that most of the people with 0 posts will even download the client and test? And write about bugs etc.?

Cuz i'm not so sure.

THIS!!! Ive been watching these forums all day now. I cant stress how unfair it is to active users that so many of the people who are currently being picked havent logged in for months if not a whole year and on top of that they have 0 posts. Go figure eh?

I have some time on this acct but never posted because I'm too e-cave ogre to socialize in forums.
Hope to get in the beta sometime later, the game looks sick!

Realy unfair the way thes key are given to people!It seams like the people that dont give a dam about the game not caring to see at least the news about it from time to time not counting the posting thing but at least visiting the forum got like wot? 90% of the keys that are given?

Wat is the morale of this?dont care about the game and have 90% chance to get a beta key?

Wot about the rest of us me included that log in every day since i have my acount and many like me?

A waste of beta slots!We that care are out eaven we look that we cold realy do some help testing the game becouse we care and thouse that dont care will have the key!

what they could do is give some keys out personaly to some of the more active users and then if those ppl happen to get on the list they can pass that extra key on to other less fortunate ppl and so on and so forth

You all knew that keys would be given randomly. Many even specifically demanded that they be given out randomly with no preference for account activity. It's funny how things like that can change suddenly. Just sit tight. The beta invites will be running continuously for the foreseeable future.

Yes but Chris did state that people who are more active have greater chance of getting into the beta. I have yet to see this at all seeing as 95% of the people are not active at all.

You would be feeling the same if you weren't in the beta either. You and all your 1k posts! =)
