With 100% cold conversion (50% from gem, 50% from AoF) to fire, that means that you can grab BOTH cold AND fire damage passives on the tree and they will both give the same increase in damage. This means that you could probably get Heart of Ice by the witch, to save a few points of travelling elsewhere.

Sounds fun! Looking for a new character to play, I tried out Explosive Arrow and laughed at how absurd the damage was. Burn/prolif OP.
I haven't played Freeze Pulse since beta, might be fun to try again. The cheapest Pledge is 6ex on Bloodlines, so that's way out of my current budget, and just going to w/ normal caster gear, wand/shield. Here's my thoughts below for links. I do have a Tabula I use for leveling purposes, and I may use that until I get a Lightning Coil or some other chestpiece. 6L Freeze Pulse Spell Echo Cold to Fire GMP Fire Pen Life Leech 4L CWDT Enduring Immortal Call Increased Duration 4L Purity of Fire Clarity Herald of Ice Reduced Mana 4L Herald of Thunder Reduced Mana Curse on Hit Assassin's Mark 3L Lit Warp Reduced Mana Faster Casting 3L Arctic Armor Vaal Grace/Haste (either or can work) Enfeeble Scion tree variant. Nearly identical, just took out the staff nodes, went with ES/regen for more defenses to support AA. EDIT - hmm, maybe not the vaal skills, i just realized there is only 30 dex on this tree. " Hey, the links are good, you wont be able to use vaal haste but i recomend you grab vaal molten shell instead, it scales really well with this build since it will shock. As the tree and gear goes, if you dont want to use pledge you should go for either light coil or cloak of defiance, but be careful cause light coil requires a LOT of lightning resists, if you go with the high regen route id probably take a cloak of defiance. note that GMP needs 109 dex, so you should take at least 1 30 dex node, remove celestial judgment cluster and take it only in the high levels, take a +30 dex on the witch side and you should be fine, you can get the rest of the dex on rings/amulet I carve and sell real animal skulls, check out my work here: https://www.instagram.com/victorseiche/

props for the nice build bro. need to try this in the next league. btw do you think this is doable using glacial cascade? I know it's not as effective as PURE cold spells since it's hybrid but just wondering if you have an idea going about it. Thx. PROPS AGAIN :)
