Beta Invites have started!

You know, there are people who read the forum but do not participate, yet they are as excited as you to play the game.

Patience is key :)

Well... this is a bummer.

I recently heard about this game in a discussion about Torchlight 2 and signed up thinking that the beta would go live on the 10th.

I guess it is live, but this is kind of a lame way to throw out invites. It's innovative, and I don't know of a time that another game has done it... but it's somewhat frustrating.

Granted that I'm the kind of person you are all mad at for getting an invite, I still think the fact that I've been lurking the site and checking out vids daily since I heard about the game means I've got the /want/ to play vs. the people who've probably already forgotten.

Oh well. GGG, gotta hope you know what you're doing, because this is just sadistic imo. I'm gonna have to get to bed for work after this name's timer is up :\

Exactly. So many people on here though are complaining, which i understand, but they have to remember that these inactive members are actually very important to the success of this game. If the only people who were included were us on the forums, the popularity would likely struggle. With that said, I think its time to invite me ;).

Nice widget guys :) ... Makes me crazy a bit, but love the idea :)

Chris should just given the first day invites to those who are currently actively browsing website. At least that way there would immediately be active players.
Those who got invited are unlikely to play, even if they are it will probably take several days before they notice they got in.
