I've been playing a wander on standard and I think I'm going to convert over to your build (I have everything but an auxim). I've always liked the idea of CI/Ghost Reaver/Vaal Pact but I've found it's hard to pull off. Is stun a non-issue due to your high es? why did you skip the ES cluster with notable Unnatural Calm? Have you done any testing with Physical to Lightning gem? Could you provide a screenshot of your offensive/defensive stats?

Auxium is not suggested since better belt for my wand build is a perfect es/res rare or a unique physical doryani.

And sorry to disagree but, Auxium blows away all your other "options". It is the ultimate belt for CI phys wander.

@Danton: Stun can be an issue in certain situations, but it's rare. If you want stun immunity just wear Eye of Chayula, it will cost you some dps tho.
Unnatural Calm is just too many points imo. I do think the Command of Steel Cluster is more efficient, because it will multiply your shield's ES (and EV...) by 110% BEFORE all other modifiers, and it's only 3 points. I'm playing HC league with my tree so it should be more than suitable for SC ;)

With your tree you'll need about 70 Strength on gear to run lvl20 red mana and red duration.
Also since you will gain power and frenzy charges (from blood rage) I suggest investing the 1 point in conduit - unless you always play alone.

Do think about how to handle mana - I'm currently struggling a bit with my 6L setup. I need a bigger mana pool to leech more, or get some regen - or both. The Atziri chest might help a lot tho.

Have not tested phys to lightning, no. Also no clue how to make screenshot.

Edit: Your gear won't work, it has absolutely no accuracy on it and so you will hit nothing. Corpse finger and the amulet are simply very bad and need to be swapped for something with high accuracy, life leech (amulet), crit multi (amulet), and other useful stuff if you can get it (Mana/Mana reg/crit chance/phys dmg/attack speed).

This cost me 4 chaos. Hopefully you can find something affordable in Standard.

Repeat, your tree is different from mine, stop. It's a fact, not an opinion. Your gem links are different from mine. Another fact.
If u are not able to sustain ps mana draw is another fact.
I'm not debating on which way is the best. Best is kayserin. Fact.

Auxium give spell dmg for me is a whocares?. No res. I need res and ll to maximize dmg mods in other items.

For me Chill was always a pain in the ass and I would definitely go for a Auxium if Resists are capped. If not, its more a question of playstyle.

Your Shield is Mega, but the Chest really sucks. A ~500ES Body and ~250ES Shield would be realistic and then UC gives more than CoS. You really need a shield like yours to get advantage of this cluster, but this thread is a "supercheap" one ;-)

You need +Mana on your gear (best on rings) and e.g. Deep Thoughts. That should solve your problem.
Yes, Atziri's Splendour is fabulous for normal mobs, but it is Uber Atziri...

It works for sure, just use Additional Accuracy for 1034 ACC and +40% Crit, so you can go for other stuff on gear/tree!

Well, it's a 6L so it doesn't "suck" ;) In a temp HC league, that is a good piece even. Don't forget that gear availability is limited for me, and in Bloodliens at least, getting a good shield like mine is WAY easier and cheaper than a high ES, let alone high es + EV chest.
You also forget that CoS also applied to the shield's evasion rating. Without it, my Evasion would be close to 0. So even if you get a 300/300 shield it's worth it IMO. But I'm not saying the UC cluster is bad, I would take it if I had more points to spend.

Yep, I solved my mana troubles with these very cheap rings (5 chaos both):

I also took Soul Siphon. Of course, if you walk over to UC anyway, Deep thoughts is better.
I now have 900 mana and 33 or so regen, which comes to a total of 144 mana per second leech + regen - enough to sustain 67 Mana cost KB with about 2 APS. IF you hit, that is, which brings me to...

Okay, that is one option. But you lose a support this way, and every support is worth about 30% of extra damage. If you really want to have OP damage as a wander, you need accuracy on gear. However, the additional accuracy gem is a very good way to get your hit rate up while levelling or searching for gear. It also costs no extra mana, which is nice. I'd say use the gem if your hit rate is below 85%, until you can improve on that (unless you are level 93+ - then 85% is fine, since it is caclucalted on your level). In absolute terms, I'd say you should aim for about 2500 Accuracy rating.

why do you use Inc. Critical Damage instead of Phys. Projectiles Damage?
