You are Incorrect my good man, although when you resume download it is quite a bit faster, up to the point you left off.

This is the worst post I ever read on the forums.

YADA YADA YADA a lot of stupid and offensive questions

I mean seriously, take your qq's to the off-topic forum or a psychiatrist, not the announcement thread..

Doesn't make a premium member exclusive? Should have bought the kiwki packs huh? :D

I tried to believe your post had to be sarcastic, but I just cannot fit it that way.

1. Learn to read.
2. Develop intellect or stay off the internet.
3. Get some mental help as you're clearly delusional, but in the case you only had a "short" moment of gigantic stupidity, I will make an attempt to explain my points and answer your offensive method of questions in an offensive method of answering.

No sh## Sherlock, everyone notices that. I guess mentioning me taking the supporter route in closed beta (CB), was missed upon your tiny brain? Becoming a supporter is a choice you make w.r.t. free to play games quite often. I guess in your fantasy world people never think about choices.

You do realize, all that stuff is optional right?

What have you been reading or blowing. Stay of the drugs. What was my MAIN reason FOR NOT going beyond the BRONZE SUPPORTER PACKAGE? Read my post. Here it is:

"
Ozgwald wrote:

The number 1 reason for me to not upgrade my CB supporter package was because I simply like the bronze kiwi way more than the silver one and the diamond kiwi. I only like the gold one if I had to upgrade/ change kiwi.

That seems like a choice made to me. A choice where I did not upgrade and support more, because the upgrade was TO ME not enticing enough. "Wait and see what open beta bring," were my thoughts at the time.

Again I question if they haven't allowed a mental patient to go on the internet at a care home. Let me quote myself multiple times, where I make this exact point, but far more elegant than your tiny brain could comprehend.

There needs to be products in the more exclusive range as there are simply players who would pay for that and as company it is best to cater all your customers.

Do I say here they need to cater to players with larger budgets or not? I clearly DO SAY THAT.

I see how that sometimes might be wanted to put pressure on people buying the more expensive version, but it also becomes rather tacky if that is how all pets in the future will be included.

I question their system, I deem it inefficient and there are games that promote or create the "exclusive" items in a far better way. I do not question their pricing I do not question their effort to make money. WHAT I question is the HOW. Not that hard to read from my text.

Ozgwald wrote:

Just my 2 cents, keep making exclusive and expensive content, but I do like to see a different approach to it.

Here is a recap line. MAKE EXCLUSIVE CONTENT, but make it really exclusive and not the TACKY system that is in place NOW. The current system demeans exclusive = sparkly effects. I and others WITH ACTUAL CREDITS AND THAT SUPPORTED THE GAME are not spending their credits due to lack of "enticing products" and the method used. I'm not the only one that thinks: "why should i run around with scorpion number/ variation 100." How cheap do you think this game would feel if every act only had skeletons as an opponent with slightly rehashed skins?

monkuar wrote:

You do realize Chris is spending his heart/life on this game 24/7?

Because of that I buy micro-transaction points and am a supporter, which would be rather obvious if you look below my name.

monkuar wrote:

You do realize you sound jealous that you cannot afford the best looking pet, oh too bad.... (all completely cosmetic)

That is not my statement at all. I just came up with some more options for you:
1. You got a drinking problem
2. You are a drug addict
3. You suffer from a recent concussion or other form of head trauma

Ozgwald wrote:

Adding tons of the same pet devalues that pet as an exclusive buy option. Everyone has a scorpion, yours just sparkles.

Making the sparkling options always the exclusive one devalues normal/ cheaper pets as the version classified as: "pssssh it does not sparkle."

If you read this I say that: EXCLUSIVE SCORPION is tacky. If I want to buy an exclusive pet apparently it is either gigantic in size or it will sparkle. If I buy any non-sparkling version and normally sized pet it will be the CHEAPER HOBO version as the current system says: "Sparkles = exclusivity." So the only option is buying a non-exclusive pet that has exclusive sparkling rehashed skins. That MY DEAR SIR doesn't feel exclusive at all and there are many that agree on that. This system doesn't actually cater all the customers. They aim for exclusive products, but the effort misses its goal.

Here are some quotes from people that did understand my text or say the same thing with a different suggestion.

There should be cheap sparkly pets from time to time, while the more expensive pets are completely different types of pets.

Also, I think the pricing needs to be changed a little. I don't see why the lightning scorpion is 200 points more than the acid, they should be considered the same pet with different variations, so they are the same price, and people can choose which of the 3 they like better without having to pay more. The same goes for the generic weapon glows, azure is 55 while crimson is 65, they are the same effect but just a different colour.

I love my new bleeding beating heart. I'm a sucker for gory and exclusive things. Did wish there was something like a dripping bloody type of effect over the heart itself though. The beating and spurting is really cool though.

Tbh I didn't realize the extra digit on the elemental pets until reading this thread. That is just outrageous. For the same model and animation you can buy for $3, you tack on a new skin and effect and sell it for up to 30x the price? Just insane. Whenever I see a developer that does something with minimal effort, and then tacks on a premium price tag, that just doesn't sit right with me.

If you're spending $50+ on a pet, shouldn't it at least be a different kind of pet that's not available in the lower tiers? And this disparity for different colors and similar effects really bugs me and I think there's a better way to handle it.

Perhaps instead of having 6 different let's say frogs listed on the pets page, there could be one frog that players can customize with the different colors and effects via dropdowns or bubble options. Like so:

*The base frog is 250 points.
*You can choose between the standard skins for no additional charge
-OR-You can choose a better tier skin for say +25 points
*You can add the crown effect for +25 points
-OR-You can add horns for +25 points
*You can add an elemental/spectral/sparkly effect for +~100 points
*You can scale the pet and make it larger for +~750 points

I bet that players would love getting to hand choose individual features and make the pet their own based on their budget.

Ultimately, I'd like to see an end to elemental effects and such being tacked on and passed off at some huge price tag and have some real premium content that took the effort. Just as the base frog costs 25 points, the base basilisk costs 100 points, and you can make way for a really cool pet that the base costs 500.

It is not a question of the price! What a bronze, silver and gold supporter are questioning here is the system. What we are questioning is that either things are differently marketed or proper exclusive content is introduced.

Guess where a bronze kiwi comes from? and FYI I'm midways between silver/ gold in terms of mt-credits. I love the game, but I and others are not spending their credits and I and others share their vision to the developers on why we do not. Whether or not the current model suffices and whether or not enough people buy and spend credits is known by GGG. Until the time we "actually bash the game" try to read our posts in the right context, namely as: supportive criticism.

Hello? Gold supporter here -------------------------------------------------->

I never once said in my post that there shouldn't be high priced premium content. It's more of a "bang for buck" issue. Like why does a red glow cost more than purple? What makes a lightning scorpion so much more valuable than an acid scorpion? Or a chrome scorpion for that matter..

My issue is that GGG is taking the minimal effort and just sticking the premium exclusive price tag on something that's just not worth it IMO just for the sake of putting something up for the big spenders.

For example, I saw a guy in town the other day with the lightning scorpion. What should have been an "Omg that pet is so awesome I wish I could afford one" feeling was more like a "That dumbass wasted 900 points just to put lightning effects on a scorpion." Had that been a unique pet instead of a re-skinned scorpion, that second emotion would never have occurred.

And in reality it is a price issue. It's a foreshadowing that all the cool micro content they've been telling us was coming all along, might just cost an absurd amount. When is costs $20 to put a glow/ simple emitting effect on a single weapon, how much do you think the Kaom skin will cost? Gender options? Extra gore? Death physics?

I hope that prices will decrease over time. It is something different if I pay $20 bucks to be the first one to have an effect or if an effect stays overpriced forever.

But they will need to get this sorted in one way or another.
I Do Not Know What Just Happened Here. All I Saw Was Something About "Sparkles" And "Scorpion".

...
Sooo... You Have A Scorpion That Sparkles... Sounds Gay.
