Nope, you're not. I also had mana problems until I linked my Vengeance with Mana leech. You would be surprised, but that actually solves almost all mana problems (very occasionally do my attack switch to the standard one).

1. can someone link me a LEGACY aegis aurora and a legacy BoR (not a legacy legacy BoR)? I want to make sure I am buying the right thing. Thanks!

2. have you updated your build? you said you were going for some ele nodes now or something?

3. Can you show us a tree if you had a soul taker to use?

4. Is going tempest shield something that is actually viable instead of going into the ranger zone? I have soul taker.

1.

2. No, I didn't update the build yet. I have been extremely busy but I still plan to update it.
3. I'm adding in a soul taker section right now, due to popular demand.
4. Yes, I guess it would work. I haven't tried it though... Which aura would you drop?

I think your build is awesome. I just hate fucking dying. =D
At lvl 77 its 24k. Would be higher but I went for block, hp and defensive nodes first. Plus I have some shitty rings atm.

Just a little improvement for your builds - since we are playing duelist and we take Iron reflexes, you should drop those marauder start nodes and take ranger nodes. You get the same hp and more reduction.

That's a good point, I actually missed that. It gives more life and more evasion, but I think (my understanding of the mechanics may be wrong) the evasion % only applies to a small part of your overall armour (from my BOR) as opposed to armour%, which, after conversion, applies to both armour and evasion?
Does what I say make sense?

Good point though, I guess it is just a matter of choice. I might actually switch to the ranger nodes...
I am also not sure how is it calculated, but for me the change was around 400 more armor (with grace aura).
Not much, but the reduction went from 49 to 50%, so I get a nice number at least and I was happy :).
hey assassin, how are you so good at making passive trees? did you play this game for a long time? you seem to know the most optimal routes, I can't really make it better...I tried. lol thanks for the soul taker tree!

Haha, thanks, I played since Open Beta but took a couple of loonng breaks. I'm not that good at making trees... I also get a decent amount of help :-)

Thanks for your interest in the build!
hey assassin, how long are you planning on updating and playing this build? are you going to try to hit 90?
I respecced my lvl 85 duelist into this build and its working pretty well so far. Ran a simple magic lvl 75 map today and will see how much harder I can go over the next week.

Clear speed of course isn't super great since you have to move between targets and I still haven't fit leap slam into my set up lol. I think I will either have to take out Rispote entirely or move it over into one of the other gem set ups so that I have space for leap slam.

The counter attacks are nice but not super great yet. I used melee damage on full life with vengeance since I am usually at full life anyway. Thinking GGG might have to buff them, I still question if these gems were the best way to help out melee in this game.

I ran Grace and Hatred which seemed to be the most obvious auras to use. Mana was definitely an issue since I initially followed the tree in the OP and didn't take any mana nodes. I ended up respeccing into the two best mana nodes and made sure that both of my rings have mana regeneration. My mana holds up fine now.

As long as I continue to enjoy the build and never or rarely die I will continually lvling up to at least lvl 90.

Great!

Yeah I agree about the clear speed, which is pretty much a problem for most melee builds (except cyclone).

About counterattacks, I agree, remove riposte. I really see no use for that gem. As for the other 2, I think they are great. Reckoning deals about 5k damage per hit (not DPS) and is usually triggered every half second, so it is about 10k free dps... So I use that simply for damage and Vengeance I use for utility. Something you must try is to link Vengeance with Mana leech. It solves virtually all my mana problems.
I did try use mana leech at first but I just feel better having consistent regeneration and I also like to make the damage on those attacks as high as possible. Just personal preference.

I forgot to mention that the degen from those corrupted zombies nearly killed me. Have to watch out for that. Other than that the build feels pretty tanky. I keep a granite and a Rumis on stand by. The Rumis makes my spell block close to 75.
