[1.3] Aegis Aurora BoR 30k dps Super-Tank with 2-3 Counter Attacks +Molten/Static/Lightning Strike
1.Can you tell us a bit more about cyclone vs dominating blow? cyclone clears faster? he spins fast but it seems slow still. Dominating blow is definitely safer, but does it do less dps than cyclone?
2.Also, can someone help me make a double CWDT setup? I tried those before but I don't know how to make them even more effective. What would the 4l + 4l setup look like and what level gems? I really don't want to die. 3.what are your thoughts on self cast enduring cry and self cast immortal call? but we go for those extra endurance charges on the tree instead. we can grab 3 endurance from the tree and then bandit endurance charge for a whopping 7 charges! if u self cast, you can easily get 14 seconds of immunity to phys damage and keep those charges up! What do you think? Not sure if that is better or the CWDT setup. I just hate dying so Im trying to come up with some solutions. |

" If your using this build I don't really think an enduring cry/immortal call set up is going to help very much. This is just my opinion and I could be wrong but I don't think your already very tanky guy is going to benefit much by spending a bunch of nodes to get a few seconds of immunity to physical damage. Your already blocking most damage up to 75% of the time and getting healed at the same time. I would rather just invent more into health/ES/Armor, buy a Rumis flask if you don't have one. But anyway, when I do use immortal call I prefer to have CWDT linked to immortal call/increased duration, and I will self cast Enduring cry to make sure I have them up when I want them up. " well I played a max block toon before and trust me sometimes shit goes down and you get crit by a hit and it hurts like hell. but then again that might just be spell damage so yes a rumi flask sounds great. by the way, Do you really suggest taking the extra resist from kraityn? also would it be better to go for attack speed for the merc bandit reward since we stack damage in the tree and therefore AS would give us a better dps boost? hey assassin, if u keep playing im sure u can farm enuff for a soul taker! some are selling as cheap as 8ex! well..they aint legacy but still quite good! Hi guys, just stop by and salute op. I'm having a great time just smashing pumpkins. Well, for all who are interested about the purchase of a soul taker, just be patient. I paid too much for it, but I attest they are going for 8 exalt. Anyway, leveling up, gonna go life first and hopefully iron reflexes.
Thanks all, esp. Op :) Andy btw, shield, soultaker, bought, everything else found. I cant believe some guys selling the amulet for 12 exalt (I got lucky !!!) Gears

" 1. Cyclone certainly clears faster since you are moving and attacking. I'm not sure about the tooltip dps comparison though. Dom blow is probably lower, I guess? 2. I have taken this from Korgoth's facebreaker guide: CWDT (LVL 1) - Enduring Cry (lvl 5) - Enfeeble/Temporal Chains (lvl 5) - Increased AoE (lvl 20) CWDT (LVL 20) - Molten Shell (lvl 20) - Decoy/Rejuvenation/Devouring totem (lvl 20) - Immortal call (optional) As I mentioned before though, I think it is better to use the 2 counter attack setups + 1 CWDT instead of 2 CWDT and 1 counter attack. The extra counter attack can do a huge amount of things like apply level 20 curses and leech all my mana for me (this is Vengeance) and Reckoning does a ton of damage. Therefore I suggest 1 CWDT Setup in Doryani's, maybe: CWDT (lvl 1) - Enduring Cry (lvl 5) - Enfeeble / Immortal Call(lvl 5) 3. Self casting enduring cry is a waste of effort, while immortal call is arguable. You need immortal call at specific times, e.g. kole smash. Then again, having physical immunity up 50% of the time is also very useful with CWDT... I suggest trying out both and finding out which your prefer. Then again, I don't even use immortal call, so it isn't really even that necessary. |
