Hey so im just checking in with my current progress:

gear

Im currenty level 62 with 1320 (with auras) dps with incinerate-gmp-lifeleech-spellecho-fastercasting.

Is this a bit low for where i am? i am in bloodlines so i decided to go for lifeleech instead of added chaos. Ive got 3.5k hp and 2,9k mana(1600 unreserved). I was thinking of adding another aura since we have so much unreserved mana what do you think?

What should i change to make this build a bit better. Is my dps ok at the moment?
For a 4-link, your DPS is OK, if not a tad low. However that's completely understandable as survivability takes priority in HC.

Don't add another aura, you need all that unreserved mana.

ok but how am i supposed to get my dps up. like at stage 3 its around 10k i think but how can i get it to like 50-60k like your build? I still have to get rathpith and doryanis but will that really boost my dps ALOT?

Any tips on killing the 2nd boss in apex? I'm getting rekt by all that phys damage. My curret tooltip dps is 3300 with max res. I'm using cloak of defiance also. I'm basically following the setup listed on the first page. I'm sure atziri won't be as difficult if I can actually kill the 2nd boss.

Curse with Warlord's and guzzle some instant staunching flasks. Pretty simple.

Just let your gms level up, they're just lvl15. And yes, a Dory will boost DPS by a lot because of how few DPS nodes there are in the tree.

Granite/Jade flask, Armor or evasion shield, Warlord's Mark. It would be great if you can get your hands on a good Round Shield with 120-180% block and stun recovery.

Stay mobile. Very, very mobile. Attack them only when the other two are far away enough. If you can dodge and warp well, you don't even need this elaborate setup.

Also run a blinding spell, like CWDT + Ball lightning + GMP + Blind. Also run CWDT + EC + IC, and if possible run CWDT + Enfeeble + devouring totem + skeletons.

Hi,
Would like to share some of my experience with this build, currently running at 89lvl I have
- 4.2k hp(had to take +30dex node for 5%hp node) and 2k free mana
- dps with LMP is 7870 with 2 heralds and not all gems leveld
- resists are 127/77/91/14

with the following gear:
Spoiler

Previously I had a arc+block build so some of the items I was reusing but other I had to find/level again.

I tried to run atziri with this build, it was my second run, I wanted to try with the same gear I have now, vaals were not a problem, but I died once at 3bosses because of my unexperience. Atziry herself went pretty easy to 50% but then rng was against me and I started to get oneshots from her copies.
I think i will try again when all my gems will be leveled and will take a legacy Saffells this time.
All boss maps are pretty easy, even a jungle one.
The main problem still could be some hard hitters, and the length of projectiles sometime dont allow to hit range enemy's, so I have to run from one enemy to another, for that I thing would be nice to use CWDT+lightning wrap+... until I will get quality gems, fore the same reason I sometimes use fireball for elerons defend mission.
Any advice on gem/gear setup are welcomed.

Overall a good, stable, calm and cheap build. Thank you.
why not get ee? i think it would work really well with HoI and HoT :D
oh and i would suggest CWDT-EC-IC-WM as a very effective backup approach.
I Would also recommend vaal summon ske as a meat shield for many bosses :D
Also, i would also recommend skipping the last 10% projectile dmg for either the 4% cast speed or 6% hp

Hey there,
I just wanted to thank you very much for this build! This is the second character I've ever done, and it's both very successful and very newb-friendly. I'm somewhat able to do 74 maps at a relatively low 69; I'm actually not entirely sure if that's considered good or not, but my only other character can't solo 71 maps without dying, sooooo there's that.

I had a question for you, though: to what level would you suggest raising the respective Cast When Damage Taken gems for Immortal Call-Enduring Cry and Warlord's Mark? They're two different setups.

Either an exact level or a general basis such as "approximately half your life" would be very much appreciated. I'm really somewhat afraid of messing up the setups so I haven't leveled any of them yet; getting the first CWDT-EC-IC-ID setup increased my survivability by approximately 200%; getting the WM-CWDT setup increased my survivability by another 150% or so. Having both is extremely awesome, and I can now tank every part of Dominus -- without the Warlord's Mark, I could tank stage two Dominus but his punch and soul-train-thing ripped me a little too often.

Thanks again for this build! I appreciate it loads.

Level your gems (Level that Clarity, if possible!) and bring a Saffell along with resistance flasks, it doesn't have to be legacy Saffell. As long as you run Warlord's Mark and Atziri's Promise and a mana flask, you should out-recover her DPS. Also, level up your CWDT and Devouring Totem to a high level.

You can use Faster Projectiles instead of one of the DPS gems, it's great for clearing maps if you don't have quality on Incinerate.

The 10% projectile damage is more effective than a similar spell or elemental node because of the nature of the damage types being used.

Glad you're having fun with the build. CWDT should be less than 1/3rd of your HP in my opinion. I prefer my traditional 7-9-8 CWDT/EC/IC setup, it's pretty solid. CWDT WM can be any level, I don't really have a recommendation but ~700-1000 damage CWDT is a good margin.

So just to clarify again, 10% projectile dmg>4%cast speed am I right to say?
