Is 1500 toolbar dps acceptable for lv67?
I linked incinerate - flame totem - added chaos - fire penetration - GMP so far on a really low level junk armor/es. Should I even bother wasting some chromes to try to get more blue sockets?

I'm really liking the utility of flame totem, I'm guess Spell Echo would boost dps to over 2000, but not sure if that really increases the clear speed over using flame totem. And is fire pen really worse than faster casting?

Instead of Added Chaos, use Spell Echo.

You can interchange Fire pen and Faster Casting if you don't want to waste the chromatics.

Im currenty level 62 with 1320 (with auras) dps with incinerate-gmp-lifeleech-spellecho-fastercasting.

Is this a bit low for where i am? i am in bloodlines so i decided to go for lifeleech instead of added chaos. Ive got 3.5k hp and 2,9k mana(1600 unreserved). I was thinking of adding another aura since we have so much unreserved mana what do you think?

What should i change to make this build a bit better. Is my dps ok at the moment?

For stages it multiplies by 4, since stage 3 gives an additional 300% dps.

I believe spell echo damage is already part of the base tool top dps calculation, and therefore is not calculated again. Kitteh's formula sounds right.

As a note for the build though, I'm enjoying it. I'm sitting at 3.9k tool tip dps at 83 and have around 200% rarity, max res, 4.5k life and 1.4k~ unreserved mana. It's really effective!

Unless you need the extra resists or have nowhere else to put cwdt-ic, I'd go with the rainbow strider. Would be a close call if your rare had movement speed.

was planning to go Arc with my first torment character but i actually just had a 20% quality Incinerate drop in a2normal.....so im curious, can anyone vouch for arc vs incinerate as a first build? im leaning towards Inc since i really enjoy lightning tendrils and find arc boring in comparison but im only on normal so yeah

For a 4-link, your DPS is OK, if not a tad low. However that's completely understandable as survivability takes priority in HC.

Don't add another aura, you need all that unreserved mana.

In 1.2, I ran one of the most popular tank Arc builds. I can say that Incinerate is way better as a first build just because it's far more versatile as a spell in terms of clear and DPS potential.
