Nevermind

I like the idea of this list. I think a good idea would be to focus on which items are drop only and which are recipe / vendor. And leave the materials / orbs vendor prices and offers from traders.

Cheers,

Malph
This could probably help a lot of people that don't feel comfortable without a ballpark to work within, myself somewhat included.
After seeing a few of the idiots flaming this thread, I feel the need to voice my own support for this idea. Very handy tool, I use it all the time, keep it up!

The standardization of prices is toxic to any economy, real or virtual.

Wow... you have no idea what I wanna do to the shithead OP right now.

If it wasnt enough what poeex or whatever its called is doing to game trading, another jerk that wants the spotlight comes along and decides to do this... so that 4 or 5 nerdshits end up controling the noobs market with sites like these.

Every single douche that quotes this site is gonna be ignored on the spot. You and poeex are miseducating and removing any thought processes from the new players, and putting unrecoverable damage to the economy in the medium term. If you cant figure out why, well, L2useurbrain. I certainly aint gonna explain it to ya.

WOW some people are MAD about this.

Which is insanity, its meant to serve as guide for what people have been known to pay. As the game grows and players learn to handle a barter economy, the ranges people are willing to pay shrink. It's like any stock exchange... the numbers don't represent some magical godsent value... they represent what people are ACTUALLY willing to pay. If there exist people that will pay X for a particular item, why should I sell it to you. I don't care if you think it's worth less than X, I can get X for it. Stop trying to rip people off. Guides like this are only going to become more prevalent, deal with it.

"you and poeex are miseducating and removing any thought processes from the new players"

admit it, you just want scam newbies of their hard earned first alch and chaos orbs thats why you hate sites like this where new player can get some idea how currency work in this game...

good items are traded only with exalts so why bother with these when you are so pro? how this ruin economy? these tables are good just for low-mid grade items while most of currency in PoE are hold in uber uniqes and thousands of exalt orbs, so site with prices of gems for few alchs does not have any big impact on economy.... actually i think auctions on forum with "fake overbidding" ruin economy... seriously check some ele ranger gear bid war for example :D

from me +1 this site and poeex is great for newbies to get used on different economy than just pain simply retarded golds (im looking at you ugly D3)...
I believe this spreedsheet is useful for new players to get a grasp of the trading/selling process, it helps to have this basic guide understanding to not get scammed. I know this helped me when I first started the game, but I didn't just follow this like a bible or compare it with every trade. I watched trade chat a lot to learn what people are selling stuff for and whispering players to ask their prices.

I truly stand by the "what you are willing to pay and what you are willing to trade something for" I mean if you want it enough, you will pay more and if others want to get rid of it, they will charge less.
I was giving basic skill gems free the other day because I had too many duplicates, and was too lazy to sell for 1 alch. Too many players already selling the same gems constantly, I never got any whispers anyways.

There are always going to be haters, there should really be more neutrals. I would like to say thanks for taking the time to put the spreedsheet together.

Very nice site. And very helpful.
Especially for newbies like myself so we don't get scammed by lowballers. :)
