1.3.0 Patch Notes

At the moment what i read is really disappointing me ... sure there are improvements
but most notes are: "we nerf like everythin down" .... and not just a little ...

what happened ... did too many people beat the endgame content???

i´ll wait until patch is released but probably it will destroy more than it fixes...

and you forgot minor bufixes again ... like highliting pets in hideout

why are you always nerfing everything with patches?

regardes the Leprechaun

I'm going to play another free to play game for a while, cya guys

They are just now fixing CoC?
And new trading system... If I can remember correctly, GGG is not supporting it directly.
Current trading is only handled by community.
When I can see auction house in this game, it is time to uninstall whole game.
To fix desync, they might need to change game engine, which is HUGE job. Just better add new content to old engine

ok some parts of that patch are interesting

but i sugest spending work to increase the usability of unloved skills and playstyles instead of nerving the exisiting interesting and well working ones

in short i dont like that patch

Nerfing well working ones brings unloved ones to be more effective when comparing those. For example unloved ones are in state 1 and working ones are in state 3. You bring working ones back to state 1 and everything is in same level. If you always just increase efficiency of skill gems, it changes game. It goes towards fast-style-game, mobs dies faster and faster, more currency and items into game. Sometimes it is time to go backward.
lol i was waiting for the new patch to come back to the game, but after reading all this nerfs, once again nerfed Cast on crit, nerfed block, nerfed acuity retroatively, lol, nothing else to see here, maybe it will have something for me on the next patch. Well at least STEAM had some preaty nice discounts on the black friday lol. Path of Nerfs

people wines only because they tasted previous patches, from newbie point of view its a good patch.
at least now there will be more competition between builds. now less CoC, Critical, block nobrainers builds. im actually looking forward to killing low life shavrones build, becouse it almost nobrainer and no competetive alternatyves.
Such drama queens. Skillblast nerf plz?

True there are 2 working ways to do balancing improving the not as well working things
and reducing the effectiveness of to good working things

for my part i like that improving thing and dislike nerfs
and i think i would be more forgiving if they implement some inproved "old" not so good Skills and increase the overall difficoulty of the game to keep the game at the same or a slower "speed"

Nerfs are cheaper than making real game content with new challenges, ie Act 4.

No matter if you feel the former or latter on this issue.......this is a glaring obvious desperate attempt to gain users. Unfortunately it will lose current users and in my opinion, not gain enough new ones. PVP will not save this game.

Abandon ship.

I still don't see how ~70% of all skill gems are useable compared to the standard build gems.
So many wasted potential.
And still no Kicksin, where are my charges or my shapeshifter druid?

I felt PoE lacked build diversity (max block, spell block, CoC, crit!!! like Diablo 3 must have etc) for a long time now, there are superior builds and there are fun builds but I don't like to suck in lategame just because I want to use a nice skill while another one is much better.
Make
Spectral Throw
great again
i absolutley expected the herold of ash bow builds to be heavily nerfed in this patch but surprise its the melee builds which are butthurt once more... very disapointed

Friend and I took a break about halfway through the last leagues. We were awaiting the patch notes to see if we'd come back or not.

Needless to say we aren't.

PvP patch is pretty lame.

"Let's balance the whole game around something that less than 10% of the population take part in."

"Cool."

"Maybe if PvP didn't suck more people would play it."

"Okay, but to get PvP where it doesn't suck it would effect the PvE aspects."

"Oh fun, a catch-22."

This is why most MMOs suck, and are a neverending wheel of shit-balance-nightmare...

The game is attempted to be balanced with both PvE and PvP in mind. The MMOs with the best PvE OR PvP always have balance with ONE of them in mind, and the other is an as-is type of thing.

If I wanted to play PvP, I'd play a PvP game...Maybe some CS, or Dota2, maybe Smite, or how about quake live. Something along those lines.

Oh well, MedianXL:Ultimative ladder just got reset anyways.

Hum...Is it a good thing or a bad thing that a MOD for a nearly 15 year old game is a better action RPG in every aspect than PoE?
