Radeon 6XXX Card Making Game/Pc Freeze
Radeon 6850 hd here, no problems with it at all.
Constant 200+ fps. Outdated driver though. |

Radeon 7870 and latest Catalyst, same issue. Radeon 3870 and old as hell drivers, no problems. |

OP may i ask what soundcard you have? and is GX-mode activated? this is not related to the creative-soundcard-issue, why im asking

yes i had the sound turned on but even disabled i still got the crash

Well what I'm saying to do is to make sure you have --nosound added to the target...
Right click your PoE shortcut, go to properties, and at the end of the target link, add --nosound (after the quotes) So it should look like "..." --nosound After you do that, boot the game, and turn shadows off. At this point you might try turning some of your graphics settings down (Anti Aliasing, etc etc). If you do all 3 of these things, and it's still crashing, then your problem is worse than mine. Mine's been working for 2 days now since I did the above. Sorry dude, and good luck. |

i really appreciate the help mordraken.
i do still get the crash doing all of the above except the sound bit in the properties,at this point playing it on low setting with no sounds is kind of a deal breaker for me anyway :/ cant wait until there is a proper patch but again thanks so much. Don't forget to drink your milk 👌
