Radeon 6XXX Card Making Game/Pc Freeze

Definitively not a general problem, I have a 7970 and play with everything maxed at 1920x1200 and I've had no freezes.

ya :/ dont really want to play it in a tiny window or low res..

and as for it not being a "general" problem..have you seen the amount of people that have reported the same problem in this thread alone..would you consider that an "isolated" issue?

Can put your specs?, and calalyst version pls.

I has same VGA but if im use iceshot.... well.

same problem...same video card, same OS, same ram...black screen forcing hard restart at seemingly random times

I asked Nugi on stream last night what video card he uses. ATI.

I asked if his CCC is up to date. He said "no Why"

I explained and asked for the version, but he didnt answer that one.

Id like to know which version these people are able to run the game so smoothly on.

Having same issues as the thread, some sessions the game works several hours without crash, party, alt-tab and teleporting between areas makes the crash possibility bigger it seems..
but, still seems random..

go ahead and fix this already, and release new .exe !

^ hey man, youre not alone. I emailed the devs about this a few days back,they are aware of the problem and are looking for a fix

For those people who find that --nosound works for them, you might want to try something.

The "ATI High Definition Audio Device" is only used for sending audio over HDMI. So if you never use that feature, you can safely disable that device in device manager.

Just a thought, might be worth a try.
