Plus I believe most kids here usually probably have some type of hidden keylogger on their computer. Which would literally make it impossible for GGG to find out "how it got stolen", as you said it was a IP from china, probably some bot/keylog script.
Another thing to note, is that there has a been a influx of "POE" shops online, and 99% of them are scams, I guess that is the same power levelling services, but most people do submit their password to these as well. " If ip has accessed 25 account, seems fishy and most likely some kid in china that is a script kiddy, getting users to dl their program or input information on poe shops online. (Fake ones) (Prob the 25th account he stole) lol Remember kids, don't download or install anything suspicious. IF you ever decide to download a .exe you don't trust, make sure you scan it vigorously. " You are assuming a lot here. No one is blaming ggg, in my case I'm trying to point out that they got hold of the pass in other ways suggested. And of course I've checked for trojans, keyloggers etc. and no I don't have firefox and yes I'm aware of the many ways a trojan or whatever can come to access my computer... |

do you use your poe password for more than one site/account? and have you logged into your poe account (game or poe website) on any other machines?

3days ago my account was hacked too. Lost almost everything. Everything of value that is.
Anitivir up to date. No uncertain sites visited. No soft downloaded. Pass never compromised. Im starting to think that someone stole the hash from GGG and breaks one after another for some testing or whatever. Support said that they're sorry to hear that and that's it. No investigation. No nothing. Im not going to spend more money on PoE cause i feel abandoned and and it hurts when you lost everything from the stash exept low value gems.. they took even the town portal scolls ffs. A friend helped me a bit but its not the same anymore. GG for me. |

As of 10 miniutes ago, I've been owned. I got booted while in game, because someone else signed on. I booted them off by signing in, they did it again, they deleted every character VERY quickly (almost botlike), and that was that.
This sucks... |
