I was dealing with a map, with Elemental Reflect and -25 Max Resistance, die fast !

I have VP and Saffell,and 4168 ES. I'm using the crit version.

Anyone can give me some hints ?

This build cannot do "-max res" and "ele reflect" at same time.

Since you have low ES, i suggest you to avoid "-max res" mod. You still can do ele reflect mod if your max res are high. I suppose you have at least 86/86/87 fire/cold/light res with saffel's.

I do reflect maps on regular basis without issue and also without saffells. I do use rathpith so the spell block on that helps as well but even that should not be needed. Elemental reflect is what 18%, so from every 1000 damage you do 180 comes back. Resists will lower this by 80% in even the worst build so that leaves 36, you leech 9% at 40% efficiency (3.6%) on the original damage dealt so it should not be a real problem as long as your leech and resist are better than posted here. Like said just don't combine with minmax and make sure you have enough overcap for the occasional elemental weakness.

So Vorici 1R1G did work on this yesterday... so multistrike is alive.



I've been testing Inc AOE in PVP with a friend and it *appears* that more AOE causes more hits from MS even for a single target. Something to do with overlapping meatball explosions? Conc effect was clearly less damage. We repeated the test several dozen times (using only arc... yes it has a high variance of damage...)

Anyone know anything about this?

I had prior thought RRRGGG would be theoretically the best sockets, for Additional Accuracy, but it seems that Inc AOE might have a use. Incidentally there is exactly ONE RRRGGG Shavs on HC and it will never be sold by its owner :(

Funsy here is the current tree I am using.

I reworked it a bit since I last messaged you, still picks up the EC nodes but routes through some damage/spell crit nodes in Witch. I'm 1 level short of picking up Annihilation. I can't drop any strength on tree unfortunately. I'd need a better pair of boots to do that.



Running around 6600 ES, 20 sec IC, 100% all res w/ flasks up. Am concerned about two things:

the spear ==> and cannot do CWDT-IC-ID w/ current colours on helm. RRRR would be difficult to roll on a vertex. Am thinking a second set of boots w/ stats and ES might be necessary.

double flameblast ==> not sure if it's possible to reliably leap slam (w/ faster attacks mind you) out of multistriking...

APS is 6.1 so fast enough.

I have a legacy Saffel, so my max res can reach 87/87/88.

With a high ES shield, my ES can reach 6130, and can do normal ele reflect no problem.

I will avoid the combination of "-max res" and "ele reflect". I think this is the only 1 type of maps we can't do.

I tried both methods, spent 1k chroms "random method" and didn't get the colors.

Then went vorici and it took 700~ and i got it
