[2.3] "Vulcan's Exemplar" Crit Dual Strike Slayer with Bino/Catalyst by fiqst
All I can suggest to you while you level up is to learn about each boss and adjust your defence to suit the damage the bosses output.
If the boss deals fire damage then max fire red, etc. But in general, collect life nodes before dps, and max resists. Also, try out other skills. I have found static strike and molten strike are excellent to level with So many strikes within one breath.
But only one strike needed, for certain death. |

I have only 5 link daresso's.
I used dual+multistrike+WED+Phys to light+melee phys damage. Mb swap phys to light > add fire damage? Last edited by BoneFaer#1791 on Apr 6, 2015, 8:18:29 AM

A bit of an update. For anyone using dual doryani, WED on gear is awesome. A tier 1 WED roll can add around 10k dps. What I did was change my skill tree and gear bit and go full on dps. That means, even with a belly i have about 4.4k life, less if I use a maligaro's.
Current gear(don't mind links, was doing testing)
Spoiler
New tree: Finally, the dps. Cyclone, only auras: 165.5k Cyclone, 5 pc: 205.5k Lightning/molten strike, only auras: 337k Lightning/molten strike, 5 pc: 417k Dual strike(lvl 18 gem), only auras: 397k DS, 5 pc: 485k DS, 5 pc + Atziri flask + vaal haste: 666k This is only a little bit below mirror dagger dps, which really surprised me. Using a legacy maligaros would likely add about 15-20k dps. For try, for see, and for know.

Awesome numbers Ether.
I have been considering a pure dps belly build for a while and now I can see how powerful it is. You've obviously done a lot of testing with the different attacks, which one is your favourite? So many strikes within one breath.
But only one strike needed, for certain death. |

I always prefer to use cyclone. With a quicksilver, constantly. The clear speed is better than even may ranged builds, not to mention single target dps.
For try, for see, and for know.

Check the notes section of the build. I wrote about addlers touch and Maligaro's that included stats and comparisons.
The conclusion was a marginal dps gain but a massive life loss. So many strikes within one breath.

*facepalm*
Check the picture I posted. Look very, very carefully. Particularly the two letters I highlighted. If my point was that you missed a vital node, I would have highlighted the entire node. As it is, I highlighted only 2 letters. 2 letters ... not 3. I had hoped that the big arrow would make you do that instead of just assuming that I hadn't read your explanation for leaving out the node as well as the many explanations you have posted since.
