Oh damn! Nice job, TomRaidcrash. It seems you did it on quite a budget, which is pretty impressive. I'll probably give it a go in Standard league with my newly RIP'd character.

yeah, with actual gear like a 6l lc and life on every piece (no doryani belt). With 4k+ hp and LC with a smart player you could prolly do normal atziri on HC as long you dont desync or get make a dumb decision.

Is Druidic Rite really worth the three points given how cheap Barrage is to cast? I was thinking maybe put those three points into Mind Drinker and leech the mana right back instead of having to flask for mana. I think even though we do very little physical damage on our Barrage, the 2% will probably be enough to sustain itself.

I'm like 60 regrets deep now and I still have to change merciless bandit. ;_;

TomRaidcrush I've just been hesitant to try it in beyond, but I have pretty great gear and almost exactly 5k life so I suppose it shouldn't be much of a problem. I guess I just need to buy myself a set. :) Thanks for the info!

Hookt, I think Druidic Rite is definitely worth it. Mana Drinker almost certainly won't provide any mana leech because the reduced physical damage per hit with Barrage + Greater Multiple Projectiles.

So not only does the 28% increased maximum mana allow another consecutive use of Barrage (it has a 15 mana cost), but the 20% increased flask effect duration is very good for the flask setup. Jade Flask, Resistance Flask, life recovery over time flask, etc. Because flasks are a main aspect of this build's defense, it is definitely noticeable. Oh and good luck with your character respec. :p

Update on Atziri: I've done 3 deathless runs (4 if you dont count a stupid chain stun to blue packs).

I failed my first set because I screwed up the kill order on trio. I now do titty bitch-dual striker-cycloner. My first set, I found that if you left dual striker last he would run extremely fast and you would never have a second of rest. The vaals are extremely easy, especially if you have vaal grace at the ready in a sticky situation. The most difficult part for me at the moment is the healing phase for atziri, I just cant hit that many of them at once to get them all. She usually heals about 5-20% at the most every phase depending on the difficulty of the incoming mobs. I can do 1/2 her health in a long phase. I think this will be remedied by a 20/20 freeze pulse due to the proj speed. I recorded a deathless video, it went pretty well but I was pretty sloppy on the trio went down to 650 hp or something for about 6 seconds. If you keep shooting into the crowd of titty bitches you just insta refill flasks so not a big deal. It's just about maneuvering around the room once you kill the first of the trio. My 30% surgeon's quicksilver is extremely helpful at this part for skirting across the degen ground if need be. Gear wise I need an actual wand with leech, another diamond ring, and a surgeon's eternal mana flask of warding.

Awesome, thanks for the detail! It seems you were able to complete the zone with relative ease considering your budget gear. And yes, I think you'll notice a big difference with 20% quality on both Freezing Pulse and Ice Spear.

There is a very cool way to build up power charges super fast so you can replace the "power charge on crit gem" out of your lightning coil.

A corrupted helmet GGBB with "gems are supported by lvl 12 CoC" is freaking awesome if you use it with: Barrage, GPM, Ice Spear and Power charge on crit. Like this:



With that you can get up to 6 charges with an single attack on a single enemy! You wont believe me but its true^^

Not so easy to get, but a 6link CoC setup together with 3cold spells (Arctic, IceSpear, Freezing Pulse) would be preeetty awesome.

Just as an idea, maybe you could use Ice Nova instead of Ice Spear for the add phase of Atziri?
