Just wanted to stop in and say thanks for the build...
Using it I was able to kill Atziri for the first time ever. To top it off on my 2nd kill of her I got a fire Doryani's Invitation. Even outside of Atziri runs this build is amazing and has been a blast to play. Thanks again... Gear

Would it be possible to get an updated leveling guide? I haven't played on the templar side of the tree since closed beta and have no clue where to head first.

" I can give you a little guidance... Start by going through the Mana/Life Regen nodes to Sanctity Then go straight down and follow it around through Shaper up to the Witch Tree (make sure to get Quick Recovery and the Life Regen nodes on the way), Duck in to Elemental Dominion and up through Fire Walker and over to Eldritch Battery (don't forget to get Heart and Soul), Next go back down under the Templar Tree and go down and get Arsonist and Barbarism, Next through Constitution and down to the Duelist area and grab up those nodes along with the ones in the Marauder tree. This is what your goal is but you want to prioritize the Life Regen and life nodes over everything else (pick up the mana ones when you need them). Once you've got them go back to the Templar Tree and work your way out towards Devotion. The great thing about this build is you're specing into so much life/life regen you're super tanky and leveling is a breeze. Hope this helped. Sorry if I missed a post, but it's not clear to me if is better to start as a templar, as a marauder or as a witch.

" With 1.3 the Templar is the better choice for this build in my opinion. you get more damage and more mana regen for AA Here is my Skilltree:

And hear my equip. I can sustain my lvl 19 AA and i dont think lvl 21 would be a prob. I can switch away ~50% regen and still sustain my lvl 19 AA.

I left "Inner Force" unskilled until my PoF-Gem is lvl 20. As you see there is a lot of space for improvements all over my gear and gems, but i deal around 4k Tooltip-DPS atm. In Standard i have the same build with a lot better gear and reach >6,7K Tooltip-DPS and there is still some space for upgrades here and there. As you can see, i have another Gem-Setup. What's the most optimal 4 link set up for incinerate?
I'm torn between: incinerate > spell echo > GMP > faster casing and incinerate > spell echo > GMP > added chaos tool tip is about the same but faster casting seems to do more damage in practice. is there a better set up I can be using? |
