Do you think that's worth it to spend 6 more points to get MoM in the tree, and using this chest ?



Don't really know which 6 points to drop (maybe drop inner force to get something like this tree

Even if you do want to take mom from the passives. A hybrid armor/es or pure armor chest is a much better option.
The chest you have doesn't have very high es and is just good for tri res which is not very hard to cap. Of course there is the life roll but armor trumps es. Since we take a lot of armor nodes too

Because after 1.3 changes it's less wasted nodes with Templar. Basically with marauder, your are 3points behind, so you arrive at the same point later, or save few nodes elsewhere. But you can still build on Marauder. I'm also trying this build atm and I'm making it on Scion. The downside of building it on marauder and scion is the slow start. No dps nodes near start, so you are leveling up slower. With templar you can always get some dps nodes early on.


I have one question from myself. I'm not yet able to run RF, but can someone tell, what portion of overall dps RF does? Scenario: you fight atziri, shotgun with Incinerate and burn with RF. What is approximate ratio of dps output of these skills (for example 70/30, 60/40)? I know it depends on HP for RF and scaling stats for Incinerate, but I want to know how much running RF is it worth.
In other words, how crucial is RF in atziri fight dps wise?

I suck at math or id give you my RF dps, I do know if I stand next to a single white mob in a 78 map and let RF kill it...it's dead in approximately 2.5 sec! Now that doesn't exactly answer your question, but id say yeah it's worth enough to call it crucial!

just started using RF i pretty much melt stuff away but my defense took a big hit without hp regen. Hoping with higher levels of POF and a dory catalyst this wont be a problem. So basically need to grind to level up to 75. Since i already had the 5 link Bob with good colors i went iron reflexes and unwavering stance. Still leveling grace but i get 67% phys damage reduction and with a cwdt it helps. Have the core of the build not sure where to put the rest of the points since i wont be going MOM.

It's still more mana (converted from ES) than CoD (even with the mana roll on CoD), the only drawback is that there is no more mana regen roll. Don't understand why you want to use a hybrid A/ES (pure armor will be a real pain to color), when you use CoD you don't have armor on the chest piece.
We already use a high level AA + MoM, do we really need armor ? Armor doesn't really help for huge physical damage (well, maybe if you have a full high roll A/ES gear), and that's really the major weakness of this build so...maybe I'm missing something, if that's the case, cold you explain ?

Any other opinion on this ?
