I'm rly happy that i got in the beta few weeks before the chars wipe out. This new patch looks awesome!

Wipe is Wipe, especially in beta, but i hope there will be no wipe, when the game will be totally completed...

Think of the character wipe (which will still leave your characters at 1st level, names intact) as a rebirth, an opportunity to enjoy testing all levels of play again, only now with a much-enhanced system to explore. =^[.]^=

I have been expecting character wipes as part of the experience of beta testing a game. So I am honestly not surprised about this and was excepting it anyways. I have beta tested a few other games as well so I know a little about how these things work.
