❄[1.2] AoE Perma-Freeze Witch (Infinite Cold Snap, Prolif, Curses, Auras) [GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE]❄
here's what I've assembled thus far (46 now). with the cold leech foible and doryani I won't need a life leech gem and will run cold pen and either conc effect or rarity (both for bosses) for the 6L. geofri's helm for the CoH setup minus Inc Aoe (both curses 20 qual), auras go in the gloves, boots will depend on how much res I need. I suspect I won't have a problem maintaining the mana cost of a pet's, AA, and a 6L due to the mana/reg of foible and the 2nd ring and wand. foible should also let me pick up more cold damage earlier because of the reduced requirement making rushing to dex nodes unnecessary. I've actually been leveling with 2h cleave mostly picking up the life / mana / aoe nodes and setting up for spell /cold damage clusters as I get closer to 60. it wouldn't be hard to make an MF culler with 3 curses and freeze utility with this build, though you'd be short a ring slot for andvarius. What is better for this build: Dual doryani or 5l taryn's?

why use discipline if im using eldritch battery? thats basically just like deleting my mana for no reason?

I'd argue something like this:
And using 3 curses instead of 2. Temporal chains as the 3'rd. It has freaking 40% to freeze time and it synergizes with freeze chill for even slower creatures. Added, I'd argue for a non-cold spell to deliver the curses, Arc perhaps, proccing Elemental Equilibrium smartly. Scion curse efficiency also seems neat to have. Sorry guys I've been out for a bit, I'll try to address any questions or suggestions soon. Haven't played in a while but I'm currently experimenting with my CWDT chain. Deciding between CWDT-Enduring Cry-Cold Snap-Ele Prolif or CWDT-Quality Added Cold Damage-Cold Snap-Ele Prolif.
Edit: The freeze chance on Q Added Cold is really nice; if I end up going with this I'll probably manually cast EC when needed. " Right now just for the increased mana regen. I might be able to drop it after getting a few more levels/regen nodes. Mana isn't an issue at all so it doesn't matter much either way I suppose. " Three curses would be pretty cool but I'd have to see if I could give up a gear slot without losing the resist caps. I'll have to experiment with temporal chains, it seems like it could work really well and add a ton of survivability in addition to the increased freeze duration. TC would probably only be worth using on bosses though since white/rare/magic packs already get locked down for a huge amount of time. I could be wrong but it seems like EE would be very hard to fit into the build since I'd be spamming CS most of the time, thus gimping my damage for all casts excluding the first hit after cursing. Of course it might work if I alternated elemental damage spells every cast but that seems clunky and not as effective. Edit: Also the extra curse nodes aren't all that helpful since we're using Curse on hit (hence the inc curse radius and inc curse cast speed don't help us). The extra curse effect would be nice but probably not worth the two other nodes to get to it. how are you casting cold snap so fast? i just hit 60 and have the resolute technique passive and the ring but it seems like i can only cast cold snap maybe once a second.
