[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses
" Blood Rage does not work if you are 100% ele dmg (it only work on phys dmg). You need to take some nodes on the tree. I suggest you take those in duelist area but you may also take those claw leech nodes to the right from Shadow and use Lioneye's Fall jewel to convert them to Bow (warning: expensive jewel). Myself I am at 91 atm and I still simply use those duelist nodes and they are just fine (in fact they give more overall than those claw I think, but claw nodes give dmg too).
" I'd get a Harbinger bow - even when the tooltip stays much the same, the difference are the crits - especially with Diamond flask it goes through the roof. Also, grab a good rolled The Wise Oak flask may boost you with some Pen (aka more dmg). Then, you can also have Assasin mark combo. I use Herald of Ice + Curse on Hit + Ass Mark + Blink Arrow (yea, the copy from the arrow can apply the curse to bosses it seems). Another thing could be attack speed on gloves, +1 frenzy change on boots, enchant on helmet, +1 arrow on quiver, crit multiplier on necklace. BTW do not underestimate the projectile enchant on helmet or +1 arrow on quiver - they are f****g overpriced for a reason, it gives TS a lot.
One question of my own for you guys - how good is The Wise Oak (compared to other flask such as Atziri's Promise) assuming that having all three resistances at the same amount is impossible?
From what I gathered, you only get the pen for the highest uncapped resistance ang grabbing a gear which will do that seems very unlikely (and ever upgrading such gear seems even more ridiculous). Yet I use the flask and can still say it makes a lot of difference in DPS. So...has anyone done some calculations on this? Speaking of... what flasks do you actually end up using? I currently have (at lvl 91): (Divine) Life flask of "oh sh1t" - instant heal + anti bleed (Eternal) Life flask with slower but big heal (to keep me up with Blood rage) Diamond flask - really good dmg boost (seriously, probably beats any uniq flask o.O) + antifreeze which is good until you get max frenzy charges, then you are immune anyway Wise Oak - dmg (but not sure how efficient) Quicksilver - because I gotta run faster I know I could technically go with one heal flask only, but I am hesitant to do that because of Blood rage which keeps eating at my life especially if you stop to loot few things and want to up yourself before running into another pack. So, what poisons are you drinking guys? Last edited by Siliarus on Sep 5, 2017, 4:41:25 AM

Can anyone take a look at my profile and tell me what to upgrade next? I have about 800 chaos, not sure if I should keep saving for a gg endgame harbinger bow or upgrade gloves and rings/any.
Any advise would be greatly appeciated.
@Siliarus
I'm running a similar setup than yours. One quick healing flask / anti-bleed One longer tick flask for the same reason: bloodrage is a bitch / anti-freeze Diamond Flash / +lifesteal but I may try to roll for either anti curse or %evasion rating Quicksilver / +mvtspeed +capacity so I can use it 3 times My only difference here is that I run Atziri's promise. Using it at the same time than diamond flash and it brings quite some dps and lifeleech. Maybe not the most optimal choice considering the ammount of eledmg I do but for now it'll do. But if yo run Wise oak and Signal Fire, I'd say that if at least fire is your highest resistance, it's probably worth it but would have to try it. Last edited by Sacavain on Sep 5, 2017, 11:09:41 AM

Thanks for any help | |
Hey guys, I'm quitenew and doing the ele scion version of this build, but there is so much info and everyone seems to be focusing on the phyisical TS build therefore I'd like to ask can someone recommend a armor/gloves/boots/quiver setup that goes along with Doomfletch Prism and also is the Prism actually a valid choice compared to Lionseye or Death's Opus? (currency shouldn't be a problem for me)

the build 1(tornado shot), with all itens, a nice craft bow with pdps 350+, kaoms heart, etc.. Is nice to farm maps tier 13-15? The build just one shot mobs in map?
and the correctly links is: Ts - gmp - ppad - phystoligt - ele dmg with atck - main/FA hatred ice herald - curse on hit - ele weakness blink arrow - FA Bloodrage ice golem cwdt - ic - id ??? Last edited by maussoldier1 on Sep 6, 2017, 2:29:57 AM

I have a hard time understanding the passive tree from the pictures posted. Is there a path of building link available for the TS build?
Also it says don't go for jewel unless you get close or have a real good jewel, how close does the TS build come to a jewel slot? OR is there already a build for it on POE using create a build? https://www.pathofexile.com/build/create Last edited by Hypochondriacs on Sep 6, 2017, 5:18:29 PM

Is it just me or is this build hard to gear once hitting 70?
Even without uniques, balancing resists with int and strength requirements as well as getting 5l with the correct colours seems to be pretty difficult. And then without the unique hat and gloves for example, I feel like a lot of DPS would be missing. |
