I really do like the way Starcraft42 gives away the keys. It surely beats writing essays, trying to solve puzzles with no answer, and generally whoring oneself as an acceptable human being to get one in the beta invite discussion forums. And don't get me started on posting in a "pay it forward" thread and one day realizing that the person above you double posted(and has a key) and neither you nor the first person under them has one, and they have publicly requested "more keys" to give away on youtube...grr? hahaha :)

But seriously I like the simple, fair, quick, random way he does things, and I also enjoy watching his streams, and appreciate the opportunity for a key just as much whether luck happens to be on my side that night or not.

I've only watched the streaming of PoE live a few times. I've found it both entertaining and insightful regarding the game. It sure beats watching the clock cycle through random names. The one thing I have never noticed was any indication from Starcraft42 that his streaming of Beta was anything but his desire to share.

I am possibly wrong, but of the different streams that I've seen others provide, I don't recall in any of them, during the streaming, they stop playing/testing, take some notes, and then report possible bugs to GGG. /shrug

Pretty simple stuff - SC42 does a solid stream, great commentary, does wonders to promote the game, and really has a good insight into the mechanics and fun of the game. His passion is clear. he has been around the block and does this in a really professional and fun way. I have played with him in game and we had a great gaming session. I look forward to more now my PC is back in order. PM me on Skype again soon SC42 - I am operational again.

His giveaways are well done and I think help. I support this idea. Since he won't ask I will - GGG - this is a good avenue for keys, please feel free to grow the community in a small way through this channel.

P.S. For the cynics - no I did not get my beta key from SC42.

Definitely a great idea to give any spare keys ya don't know what to do with to SC. I've seen so many deserving people walk away with one (in both the ninja and regular giveaways), and I definitely think he's got the fairest method for giving 'em out.

And also, his stream is awesome. You really won't be wasting any time there. Most of us regulars started watching as part of the whole giveaway thing anyways~.

I have just spent my morning watching the stream bt MASSIVELY, and was rather disappointed, especially with Starcraft42's streams to compare. I found Massively's stream all over the place and while they were playing from the beginning of the game, they did not offer much commentary on the gameplay, and weren't present on the chat to answer any questions. Although Chris_GGG was active on the chat on the massively stream, its something that could be possible if he made an appearance on Starcraft's stream. Starcraft when he streams is active on the chat and will answer most questions about gameplay when you ask.

The giveaway on massively's stream was also disappointing. It didn't allow for lag or connection speed, as it was just a link they posted at the end of their stream, with first in first serve. Starcraft's giveaways are much more involved, and give everyone an equal chance to win a key, by giving everyone 30 seconds to post their guessed number before he generates the winning number.

It is deffinately worth watching SC's streams, they are always amusing, and give a great look into POE gameplay, and sometimes a chance to get into beta yourself.

He just needs keys donated for this to happen!

We need more keys for starcraft to give away in an equal and fair manner!
