Why not the piercing shots passive? 30% chance.

Looking for advice on how what to improve next on my gear. Also wondering when I should try Atziri. I will also link my passive tree, I think I might want some changes, perhaps get the node that makes my traps invulnerable for 5 sec before I try her. Also missing lots of leech. Got a Meginords in my stash.

Is vaal pact mandatory? Don't really like that keystone all that much. Is it really needed for normal mapping? Or is it for atziri?

" I feel ya on that one. You waste so much points to simply get vaal pact right. It is to counter reflect. I guess u sacrifice a few points to get it but you can spec out of it when you get atziri acuity. |

" when i get Atziri's Acuity... I don't know if you are serious now. There are a grand total of 2! for sale on rampage. And one of them has a price tag of 150 exalted orbs of which i have exacly 0. I think it's safe to assume i will never get those gloves. Agree it's a lot of points to get vaal pact though :) I will postpone getting vaal pact until reflect becomes a problem. How does that sound? It's not in the 50 point tree anyway so i assume it's not needed until mapping the earliest. Let me ask this instead: Is anyone playing without vaal pact. Is it feasible? Another question: I startd as a shadow. It's not worth traveling all the way to ranger start right? I was thinking of stopping at aspect of the eagle. " MANDATORY IMO!!! " I played without vaal pact to start. I was miserable and stuck in the high 80's. Switched to vaal pact, and pretty much leveled to 92 with only dying a handful of times. I would NOT ply this build again without vaal pact or those gloves. " Thanks! Sitting in town my tooltip dps is 19,073 DPS, and the trap is 11,096 DPS. With charges up it's 22.5k for ice shot and 13.3k for trap. Gear for uber atziri kill
