Yeah, that would work. I just like having 1 setup for the simple reason of the game being pretty dynamic. Sometimes you'll need Puncture Trap for rares or certain other situations, and I find it sort of clunky to switch around all the time. But if it's solely for Atziri running, where you can control all situations, a wep switch with a crit quiver definitely works.

As for Uber Atziri, I'll record a vid as soon as I find a Hope from Atziri :P Last Hope I found was 70 runs ago, so should be soon... I hope.

You're welcome! And yeah I was just testing out different curses, one of which was Temp Chains. It works pretty well for kiting and setting up traps. Depending on the colors you roll on items (and your playstyle), either Assassin's Mark or Temp Chains would work just fine.

I know its viable without voll's/romira's ... but I am wondering how much more viable it is with those items, its a lot of currency to spend for voll's.

I'd say the Voll's Devotion is easily replaceable since, other than the signature Endurance charge mod, it offers mediocre stats that can be easily filled by a rare amulet (life/resists/stats/crit). Like mentioned in the OP, the 2 main things you would be losing from Voll's/Romira's combo would be Endurance Charges and the 2% mana leech.

It's not too big of a deal. Make sure you include an Enduring Cry gem in your CWDT setup, and have mana leech from 1 of your rings/amulets/quiver (or tree) & you're set.

You definitely want to get as many crit nodes as possible (as well from gear), even if it doesn't scale nearly as well with Chin Sol. When complete, you should have somewhere around ~30% chance to crit with both Ice Shot and Puncture Trap. Combined with Assassin's Mark, and it's closer to 40%.

The reason is because if you don't crit, you won't be burning enemies, nor will you be able to take down bosses quickly. If you're sitting at 20% crit, that's 1 in 5 shots that will crit. A jump of 10% crit to 30% crit will improve it to roughly 1 in 3 shots that will crit.

Would it be worth using a Lightning Coil or Cloak of Defiance for more mitigation? Hardcore or Softcore aside, dying in either league is never good.

Sure. Either of those chests are pretty solid go-to items for HC tankability. Cloak would require more investment as you don't get much flat ES on gear, and don't really have room to run clarity/discipline for the mana pool. Lightning Coil would be easier to work into the build, as long as the rares you're wearing can cover the resistances (doesn't take too much more).

Yeah I saw his variation and his warning about having lightning damage on gear. That's why I wasn't sure if Lightning Coil would be good and how often it would proc compared to the other elements. I currently seeing if I can come up with a hybrid of your build and Raiz's build. I'm currently playing in Rampage and I don't necessarily need something as tanky as Raiz's variation. But your build seems almost too squishy for my liking. I've never played a character with less than 3k hp before other than my summoner.

Besides Pierce, are there any other gems that are mandatory to get quality on?

Can someone make a video killing Atziri with budget version? Is it possible? I have everything except
Voll's devotion and quality gems. I have 5l/5l. My puncture tooltip is around 8k. Do you think thats enough?

Good question. Some gems where it's useful to get quality are: Increased Critical Damage, Elemental Proliferation, Immortal Call, and Increased Duration

Yep, my tooltip also shows 8k for Puncture in the budget version. I'm uploading 2 videos to YouTube atm of the budget version clearing Apex. Should be up within another hour or two :)
