1.3 LL BM Summoner - Atziri viable on a budget (142k - 282k Single dps - 4link only - MF viable)

I want to begin my BM summoner as soon as I get home from work. I plan on playing beyond. Can you give any recommendations for a HC build? By the way you describe it, it should HC viable, but what would you change? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Last night I transitioned to LL BM and wow the damage is great. My only problem is I have to learn to not be so aggresive in where I'm running to lol, stun locks hurt. Zana gave me a necropolis and at the boss which died easy (minus 1 spectre since i had to weapon swap to switch flesh with bone offering) the 2nd form geysers nearly raped me, i just couldn't get out of it lol.

With your tree and Purity of elements, are the minion res capped while using either 3 of the shields you list? EDIT yea they are res capped 93/126/93 (with saffell's)assuming I didn't screw up somewhere.



When you shield swap, do you turn off vit for the other purity when its needed?

yes for a fact. Its nice, but the amount of vaal skills i use is very limited. as i said before, just back down and you should be fine. unless you get chainstunned/frozen (very rarely) this should save your ass, and in the case you do, you cant use vaal skills anyways ;)

I prefer using vaal grace, if I know im gonna enter a dangerous fight

Play life based till 65. Just dont try anything es-iness before. From there respec into bm and es nodes. you need at least 100+es gloves, 150es+ helmet and a lvl 15+ discipline. Use a high es shield and dont use necromantic aegis until you get shavs for hardcore. Im currently running with 4.2k es in rampage, but for hardcore i wouldnt recommend it. Some other changes one might consider is running eye of chayula instead of sidhebreath. Run at least 1 staunching quicksilver and 1 quicksilver of heat (dispels frozen), preferably ample for multi-pop. Dont try atziri in Hc until you get shavs, have insight in moments you have to log in the fight and have lvl 20 purities. It shouldnt be much different, but considering I can do palace dominus without dying with just 4.2k es these recommendations should keep you save. Also, consider using ephemeral edge instead of midnight bargain if you want to be utterly safe.

I'm res capped without the helm, so as soon as I run across a much higher es one it's going to be replaced.

Nice to hear you enjoying. for stun locks, just dance around a bit more. What Ill usually do is uturn into the pack, then walk out while convocation. Its a trick youll learn eventually. Merveil is pretty doable, I even did Twinned Necro. Was sketchy as hell, but as long as you know the mechanics its nothing more than dancing around. using Flesh offering and PoIce is pretty important tho. the twisters are Slowing DoTs and there is no way your gonna block DoT so rather have your minions leech faster and resist more.

Yes the minions are res capped for as far as I know, with all shields. Luckily minions dont suffer from the penalties.

For the shield swap, I never turn off vitality. Its always between grace and PoE who goes off. I can basically run 2 out of purities and grace without any problem, even a third can be fit in, so I dont see much problems there. most bosses that do all elemental dmg dont do attack dmg anyways. I also dont tend to shieldswap that much anymore, just because my minions dont die anymore. lvl 24 zombies. :3

What Im curious about btw? How is the Inc AoE working? Personally I would use Inc AoE with Conc effect instead of Inc AoE and minion dmg. With Inc AoE the baubles are still big enough with Conc to support it and Conc gives more dmg output than minion dmg (since Conc is more and minion dmg is increased)

I've actually meant to switch conc back in in place of minion damage. thanks for reminding me lol.

had minion damage in there more for me as i get the hang of low life lol. before now I was using mom/eb/aa so i'd be running up in the middle of a bunch of gargage, can't do that now.

hehe no. as a summoner your not supposed to be facetanking anyways. you have zombies for that :P

Thanks for the effort but the audio in your video ( mf fragments) is beyond low. Can't hear a word you're saying and you move the mouse around so fast can't see your gem links...I just stopped watching. Gathered no info at all.

That's a very nice idea for a summoner Leary, I know I will try it soon and revisit my summoner times :)
One question though: Rampage is not even a month in, how on earth are you running with 20 lvl gems and a lvl 3 Empower already??

Or maybe I just don't play enough... (?)

I definitely overprepared for Atziri running this build. Thanks a lot for sharing it in the first place I've had a ton of fun running the build. Not sure where to go from here, Palace/Shipyard/Shrine/Crema are just so faceroll once your zombies have enough health/damage.
