As I didnt find anything on browisng throughout all pages of this thread, I am interested in what is the best 6l for puncture?
I "accidently" 6l my bow on trying to get 5links^^ Moreover I am intersted in your opinions on best tornadshot shot links. Currently my 2 6links: Puncture > Faster Attacks > Added Fire > Critical strike damage > physical projectile attack damage > ?Added chaos/Pointblank/W/e? Not sute if I want to use traps ... Better than manually shooting?
Currently I have 71k manual puncture. Maybe I try traps. Any opinions which is better? Traps or non trap |

" If you're good with traps- they deal way more damage (thx to MORE modif on both trap and PB), let you pick off those annoying reflect/prox shield/hiding_behind_meathshield mobs. But you lose some range, leech from single target attack and well, the ability to bleed some annoying pack (but you have TS for that, so usually not a problem). | |

" Trap allows you to use 2 extra support gems to increase physical damage dealt (trap itself and point blank). Without traps, there are just NOT enough supports to fill 6-link for puncture. For 4-link, traps arent necessary, but for 6-link, you have little choice. Also, NOT oneshotting yourself due to sudden reflected crit from puncture is good, too. Linking elemental gems to puncture (added fire/cold/lightning/chaos/WED) is just a waste of slots. Increased Duration can help, but generally it isnt worth slot for single target. IGN: MortalKombat

well for my build, once i get up in level, i'll have Puncture/PPAD/Inc Crit Dmg/Added Fire Dmg/LMP/(Inc Duration). duration obviously the optional 6th link.
i don't have pierce or chain or anything there because i'll be cursing on hit with vulnerability and projectile weakness which doesn't give bonus to drillneck (makes that useless) but will give you full pierce change on anything else fired, as well as the extra dmg. the increased duration will be great considering when you get that one crit it will last a lot longer. im trying to see if i'll be able to run 3x curses however, in order to corrupt some gloves with lvl 10-12 temporal chains, which also lengthens puncture duration. that will probably take some more figuring out though, not sure its possible i'll have to see. a corrupted amulet and one doedre's damning would make it work... |
