The Mathil Tornado/Puncture Spec - Cheap Uber Atziri Viable

Did little bit of upgrading since last post...bow was not that great for end game.. is now ;-) 15.6 kdps with Tornado..41.5k with puncture getting real close to crit nodes can't wait to c the dps then current gear now

Ok, so I'm lvl 74 now, and running mostly 67 maps since I don't have many higher ones yet. I do fine with those, but I'm trying to figure out what I should focus on next to improve my DPS and survivability for higher level maps. Wanted to see if anyone had suggestions. I know my bow kinda sucks since it lacks crit.

My tooltip DPS (with HoA and Hatred)
Tornado: 3547
Puncture: 5515
Fire/Cold/Light/Chaos Res: 67/76/75/-60

Here's my current passive tree (I have 9 pts to spend):


Here's my gear. I'm pretty poor. Have maybe 20c (mostly from selling alts), some alchs, and a smattering of other currency. Haven't found an exalt or anything high like that yet, so not really in a position to buy a decent bow. They all seem to be around 4ex now.

Is critical chance or critical multiplier more important on a puncture build?

Multiplier is far more important. You can always fire another arrow or two to get a crit, it's much more important that you get the biggest Puncture crits possible as it sets the damage for the entire duration of the bleed. This combined damage is often enough to 1 crit kill most rares and some bosses.

Is it worth getting drillneck ? and replacing WED gem with pierce ?

I Belive added fire damage does more damage then Wed

Yeah, it is.

But my question was,
If you have drillneck and then replace WED gem with pierce. Would it be higher dps than rare quiver ?

Well, if it wasnt, why would Drillneck cost several exalted?

haven't played in a while.. started again this weekend and decided to try this build.

Apparently I got really lucky on this bow, anyone mind telling me what I should do to finish it?

You can take percent increase pys damage, accuraty, and attack speed. Otherwise you can ask in global chat.
