if you scan the 300+ DPS bows patiently, 3-4 ex bows pop up from time to time. Mine has 330 DPS and i paid 3 for it.




Regarding crafting: what 2 mods do you suggest getting on a white harbinger bow before regaling? Flat Phys and Phys % or Flat Phys and Crit %? I guess it is a matter of the best Tora mods available for that specific slot, isn't it?

Really liking this build! I had a couple questions however, is the Phys Proj Damage worth more then the crit that you can get from power charge on crit? assuming you get aliras power charge and the power charge above mind drinker, is the 250% increased critical damage less damage then the phys Proj damage? I havent made it to late game but the tree has around 600% increased crit chance already so maybe the power charges dont add anything, just curious as Im leveling a tornado shot ranger now

That is a nice bow. I did atziri with less tooltip damage so I bet you can. The only other question I suppose would be your life amount but if you are careful and watch a few vids to see how the fight goes I'm sure you'll be able to do it.

I don't want to speak for mathil but this is my interpretation.

on the previous page mathil mentioned he has 69% crit and gets +4.5% per power charge. That last part will change based on your base crit chance from your bow. You can figure this out pretty easily. If you have 600% crit chance and an 8.5% crit chance on the bow then you will have a 59.5% chance to crit (8.5 * (1+6.00)). With 5 power charges you will have a 80.75% chance to crit. A 9% base crit bow would give 63% and 85.5% respectively.

The phys proj damage gem however is a More physical proj damage so it is going to be a multiplier that will effect every puncture shot. For power charge on crit on puncture to be worth it you need 5 crits from puncture shots (within a time limit since they don't last forever) to build the charges before you max that gem's potential. I'd say phys proj gem > power on crit.

I build my power charges through my tornado shot normally. If you wanted a gem slot in puncture (for atziri where you may not use tornado shot) then perhaps that would be your 5th link (or 6th). I wouldn't replace it for physical proj since that gem always provides benefit and you still have a good chance to crit with it, whereas the power on crit just increases crit chance after successive shots.

About the best you can do with that is craft on local crit. For future reference, you want +XX-XXX% Physical and +XX-XX physical damage on the same bow. So like the one from Epicdovic above.

The easiest way might be to roll a bow and then craft the lvl 8 modifier from Elreon that allows multiple crafts on the same bow. A high flat physical roll and attack speed or crit would be your best bet if I did my math right. Should work out to ~300 pDPS bow even with the lowest ED rolls if you hit the highest added physical damage tier.
