You can drop vitality if you take the 1% life regen shaper node and gain a free socket, I'm running tempest shield now.

need to try that. I want to run both heralds too :P Also i've been using legacy saffels frame for a day now and it seems pretty fun. Not sure if its better than rathpith but +5 max res is kinda great, if only it had more es.

Yeah rathpith is probably overall better, but saffels is great for some fights like dominus and atziri.
