Likewise with projectile damage/speed nodes. Sniper takes 2 nodes and increases damage, so worth it for 2 points dropping a couple mana/ES nodes right?

You can definitely run without 16% increased AOE, I actually didn't even use the increased AOE gem until around level 90 when i 5L'd my Pledge of Hands.

If you can handle losing the mana regen from the 2 mana/es nodes then it should be ok to change to Sniper. More damage and a little bit of projectile speed is good =]

Ah, so its more like a luxury if your dps already meets end then. As for the proj nodes, I decided to spec out of some damage instead, gonna probably need all the mana I can get for my build. I've noticed you run herald of ice, how much damage does that add overall? Just arrived at merciless and got cloak, unfortunately out of chaos to afford other gear so resist are crap, gonna have to farm some piety later :p

Herald of Ice adds roughly 10% tooltip DPS which is really nice. You definately have to keep mana regen in check, mana regen adds alot of dps since you can spam your skills or add on an extra support gem and still handle the mana costs, also that higher level arctic armour is nice too =P

Added Cruel Alira to choice of bandit rewards

why not using slower projectile ? it's maybe one of the biggest dps gain for ball lightning.

Projectile Speed: So this is where some prefer the Slower Projectile gem's ability to keep ticking the same mob, therefor increasing DMG toward single targets. It all comes down to being able to start ticking the whole screen faster, i clear very fast and need the balls to reach further faster otherwise i wouldn't hit as many mobs and it would slow my clear speed down.

well it's not only single target, your dps is also higher for big pack with slower proj.
Your point is valid though, slower proj increases the time between the moment you start to engage ennemy and the moment you reach your peak dps on mobs pack.

Well i grabbed today so i removed life leech from my 6L for added lightning 5.3k dps to 6.6k X_X . incoming reflect rip, it inspired me to grab a slower proj but i couldnt chrome it yet so i left it all blue for now, if the reflect seems too much then i might grab a few more stacks of chromes and try again.

Updated for Level 95 Stats and Passive Tree

from 5.3k dps to 6.8k dps yesterday

Tested LMP and Slower Proj, did not like it over my current setup.

Changed my current passive tree, will change others once this setup is finalized.

added dual curse setup with 5L chest.

lmao thanks i am definitely amazed at how well it turned out for me. I was using a 5L pledge then bought a second one and 6S then 6L'd it myself with around 150 fuses, passed up 5L twice and came out on top =P .
