Cherrubim's a Chaos user and currently leeching very well. Also, GGG never mentioned anything about Chaos not being able to leech. I supposed it's a matter of how players use it and optimise it?( ・◇・)？

This retrospective was a nice Birthday Gift for me ^-^

Great writeup and the item looks awesome,unfortunately i think it's extremely flavorless and basic,it doesn't really add anything special to the game,or opens the door to any new builds,it's just a 100 life 2k armor chest,with a few nodes worth of chaos dmg and a not so great numerically improvement to leech.

Not saying it's a bad item,but when making uniques you should always aim for great ones,i hope you don't take my comments too harsh,just my two cents on the matter.


Loved the development process description,wished more supporters did it.

We did, but it's always just not our call as it is per GGG's discretion. Many drafts were discarded for the greater good of the game. This is the best that can come out now as much as it was stretched during these many moons.(っﾟДﾟ；)っ

sad to see that initial idea that wasnt that broken got turned into quite bland 'life, ar, misc' item..

i wonder HOW the process is designed that pretty much neuters nice items into bland ones AND YET Mjolnr and Windrippers (or on the other end of the spectum: Concoction+aura nodes..) make it into the core game..

there is something absolutely not right. as if two groups of people designed items for two different games

I want this item so badly. I too am obsessed with Chaos in this game. Ming's, Bino's, Atziri's Promise, Incandescent Heart, Voltaxic, etc. I collect all the Chaos things lol. Looks great, too!

The first draft looked kinda nifty but dangerous with all the crit involved. Don't know why it was turned down in the first place but I am glad to see that you are satisfied in the end. I can see why this version looks bland to some compared to the initial version. The mods are not as radical. However this also might go in favor to general usability of this good piece of armor. ;)
