Updated 8/10-Crown of eyes nerf=50% of modifiers to spell damage also apply to melee attacks.

I hope everyone enjoyed my troll and had a good laugh. More importantly the nerfs I pointed out are things I felt needed a good discussion so GGG could see people's opinions as someone posted earlier so nice work on that. Boem, props to you for not following everyone else and sticking to your guns. I'll leave the rest up to see how close I got, I knew I should have posted Spec throw but people started to really freak out so I had to back off a bit. On a more serious note I can't believe GGG posted the nerf before the patch drop!












Mjolner-20% lightning damage down from 40% and 25% down from 50% for chance to cast


Windripper-Rarity and Quantity max halfed. Here it is so get ready. Start Divining your gear. Some people already have a few days head start on this info.

Edit: Full disclosure I sold a crown this morning that was on my thread. I own a crown and Windripper that I use as well as most other legacy uniques of note.

Edit 2:
-Atziri's Acuity- Says Vaal Pact on critical strike where Leech on crit mod use to be. (all I can see for now)
-Detonate dead-Damage will become a flat damage instead of % based for the fire portion and leveling will also increase cast speed from what I can see. ( I don't have the numbers so I will work on that its getting a bit harder to get this info.)
-Bino knife- Crit decrease (7.52-9)
-Alpha's howl nerf-only have a piece of info and its the reduced mana% is getting halfed and aura node plus one instead of plus 2, 50% chance to avoid being frozen.
A note on this Alpha's howl I guess this will be a pretty big deal with the passive tree changes and you can see already some heavy buying from the Wraeclast elite. Obviously I am not the only one with this info...

Why would people use crown of eyes if the tree offers 4x 16% spell damage nodes (currently) with the change you suggested.

you would make it RF only or low life only.

While now it does serve those builds, but not exclusively.

Nobody uses Crown without Pain Attunement, it would be huge waste when you could use real ES helmet with accuracy and resists instead.
