Okay, how i see this (i don't know specifics, but this is a simple theory)

There is 1 Hideout (tied to league).
You can meet all 8 Masters during gameplay. And get 8 MasterXP_progress bars (proved fact)

There is an NPC in town, who can teleport you into your hideout.
And this NPC has "dialogue boxes" (or interface tabs) which allows you to "invite" up to 4 masters in the Hideout at the time.
You can change those "combinations" anytime.

Talk to NPC, choose "i want armourer, spellcaster, map_master and sockets_master", OK, teleport inside.

Or maybe you can change this inside the Hideout and need to re-enter, doesn't really matter.

Sure about 8? Only 7 are mentioned.

Chris posted further clarification on this issue on Reddit. You can access the benches even when the master isn't in your hideout.

Ah ok that reddit thread helped. There will be a penalty to swap the masters but they haven't settled on one yet.

oh, so an annoyance with a penalty cost. Yup sounds exciting and fun to level them up and check them out, LOL.
