GGG - Question - New Crafting Benches
So according to the manifesto:
- Once a Master has been invited to your hideout, you have access to their crafting bench - Your hideout can support (at most) 4 Masters - Only the owner of the hideout can use the hideout's crafting benches - Your hideout is "league-wide," meaning that all your characters share the same hideout within the same league - There are 7 masters, each with their own unique crafting bench/recipes Therefore, if I'm connecting the dots properly, all characters within a given league will only ever have access to 4 of the 7 potential "sets" of recipes. Is this correct? Can GGG (or someone with superior reading comprehension skills) confirm/deny and provide proof/reasoning? Thanks! :) Last edited by srh4439#2783 on Aug 1, 2014, 11:57:52 AM

" Not sure. " " No. " |

It may just be a difference in reading, but the way I read Chris's post, it sounds like the hideout is account wide.
Also, if I'm understanding things correctly, leveling a master gives your account access to their wears (aka the things he's selling), and their workbench (aka the recipes). However, you need to place their workbench in your hideout (limit of 4) in order to use their recipes. |

" ????? " This sentence is straightforward. There's no difference in reading. I'm right, you're wrong. Last edited by elitedesolator#6827 on Aug 1, 2014, 10:20:29 AM

Agreed, within a league. So if I have one hideout in the upcoming league, and one in standard, I have no idea how those two hideouts will merge/coexist.
So let me clarify: within a given league, does one ever have access to more than 4 recipe benches (and therefore 4 sets of recipes) based on the points above? I'll update the original post as such. Last edited by srh4439#2783 on Aug 1, 2014, 10:25:31 AM

" " As to how that happens we don't have any details yet. The crafting benches and the 4 limit is a good question though. Last edited by elitedesolator#6827 on Aug 1, 2014, 10:28:11 AM

Invite them to your hideout... I'd guess that it is possible to dismiss them later and get another Master.
According to the screenshots, you can also meet them in town or hostile areas (and probably switch their locations) Dynamit,

I imagine you gain the benches from those masters as hideout property meaning that they will gain independence from the masters. The masters themselves offer their services (vendor stuff and dailies) only personally in your hideout. The benches they award might be a property, meaning that it will make sense to level all masters to a certain point.
That's how I'd imagine it being the least complicated. |

Interesting, I had thought the opposite (aka hideout = benches), and that you had access to their "wears" regardless via talking with them in town.
Maybe it's the opposite, though Chris's wording is what I'm basing my opinion off of. The following quotes are from the manifesto: "Once a Master has been invited to your Hideout, you can place his crafting bench in your Hideout. As the Master levels up, the crafting bench gets more capabilities." and "As you level your Master up, you're able to upgrade the size of your Hideout. There are three sizes and they each support a different number of Masters (ranging from 2 to 4)." |

That could end up being a serious annoyance if you can only have 4 Masters in your hideout, and can not access there benches any other way.
