Dual wield Last Resort vs Unarmed Facebreaker analysis
|
If you go low-life with Solaris you'll lose an incredible amount of ES. If you have a Shav's, there are other builds that can make much more use of it.
In regards to being able to crit with this build, the only place you can get crit chance is on an amulet and Diamond rings, the latter which would cost you elemental resistances that you'll need since you can't get it elsewhere. I don't think it's a good idea to get crit in your tree with your defenses. I'd go CI and use Melee Damage and Melee Damage on Full Life, I'm pretty sure you'd get more DPS with better claws. Less costly too You make my ochinchin go doki doki. Last edited by GooberM#3961 on Jul 7, 2014, 2:24:04 PM

" This is why I said that this kind of build would need to scale primarily from criticals and would mostly ignore picking up increased damage or attack speed. Anyway, dual wield last resorts should be able to achieve much higher dps than an unarmed build thanks to criticals & dual strike, and be able to do so without that much offensive passive investment since you primarily only need to grab crit passives (don't need increased damage, increased speed, or accuracy), thus leaving most of your points available. Anyway, since everyone seems down on the idea, I'll give it a try and write up a build report later if it proves viable. " That was what most people were suggesting way back when. If you were going to go with a double strike build, getting Atziri's Acuity and a high-end crafted rare claw would be much more powerful than Bloodseeker Claw, albeit very expensive. my all damage calculation will be for max damage:
LAST RESORT: -quality 20 last resort max physical damage is 41. -from items at first post total physcal damage: 26+15+15+20+60+12=148 (edit: Amulet = 15-26 physical Ring = 9-15 x 2 physical Belt (Meginord's Girdle) = 10-20 physical Helm (Abyssys) = 40-60 physical gloves 6-12) on low life from glabal 100% claw: 148*2*2= 592 on claw local max roll 100%= 592*2 = 1184 ......... (1) -on low life 41 weapon damage will be double 2 times = 41*2*2= 164......(2) 1184+164 = 1348 25% attack speed = 1348*1,25= 1685 1,35 attack speed= 1,35*2022 = 2274 dps (max) at first post it says dualwield bonus. i dont know about it. if it is true it will be more damage FACEBREAKER: for legacy : 26+30+20+60 (from items) = 136 1000% more means 11 times = 136 * 11= 1496 1.2 attack speed default= 1496 * 1,2 = 1795 base damage max 8 => 8*11= 88 88*1.2=105 (attack speed) 105+ 1785 = 1890 edit: with shavronne dual claw low life build's hardest part can be color of socket in the shavronne(some greens and red). Without shield solaris chest cause low ES. sorry for my english :D Last edited by druen#2224 on Dec 28, 2014, 8:53:19 AM

" You can go low life without those items. But you can only play in areas without chaos damage. Back in the days i used to play low life sporker in docks and lunaris temple. It was the only chaos damage free areas then. Maybe there are more now. |
|
" There are technically zero areas that are "chaos-free" by default ever since they added in random rogue exiles that use chaos damage (Thena Moga, Ion Darkshroud). Playing a shav's/lorica-less low life build is a lost art. You need to get a lot of chaos res% and you need to pay a lot of attention. Getting the vision notable (Arcane Vision) is extremely important. It's a lot more work and it's a lot less safe than just throwing on the Herp Derp body armor of Victory. |
|
" Yes but there is a very low chance of running into one of those. And i didn't play hardcore. You can also go low life in act 1 normal. Don't think there are any chaos damage monsters there either. |
