  • Added two new achievements: Identity Corruption and Full Clear: Apex of Sacrifice.
  • Added 3D art for the following items: Jaws of Agony, Saffell's Frame, Spring Leaf, Kaltenhalt, Titucius' Span, Voidhome and the Race Season Eight alternate art rewards.
  • We updated and improved the appearance of Chatters.

Balance:
  • Due to the slow cast speed of Ethereal Knives, we have made it cast 25% faster. Its damage has been reduced by 20% to compensate. We have reduced its mana cost so that it costs the same per second as before. The Rogue Exile Ash Lessard and the Corrupted Area boss Haviri, Vaal Metalsmith are also affected by this change.
  • Most monsters now hit more frequently for less damage with Ball Lightning. Multiple projectiles from the same Ball Lightning volley use cannot simultaneously hit. Vessel of the Vaal has not been affected by these changes.
  • We have reduced the Dodge and Spell Dodge from Vaal Grace. The duration has been increased.
  • We have increased the damage of Raging Spirits. At gem level 1 it is 21% higher, which scales down to no increase at gem level 8 and 9. The damage then scales up at higher levels to 66% more damage at gem level 20.
  • We have increased the spawn speed of the Stream of Monsters mod on ambush chests.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed a bug where Cast Times on skills were not on the Skill Gem display.
  • Fixed a bug where Reave dealt main-hand damage, even on off-hand hits.
  • Fixed a bug in the Sarn Arena where the shrine, exits and environmental doodads could disappear after a long period of the instance being open.
  • Fixed a case where the Vaal Oversoul could get out of sync when doing a Vaal Smash.
  • Fixed the buffs on Doryani's Invitation to display an appropriate icon.
  • Fixed how the vanishing Fairgraves held his weapons in the Mao Kun unique map.
  • Fixed a rare crash with the Headhunter unique.
  • Improved the performance of the environment for the Palace Dominus Fight.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when Vaal Cyclone was used on the Ossecati, Boneshaper unique boss.
  • Fixed a crash with Arcing spells being used on Piety, when she used Lightning Warp.
  • Fixed a crash when using Vaal Lightning Strike on Piety, when she uses Lightning Warp.
  • Fixed an issue where Piety could be in both Fire and Ice Form simultaneously.
  • Fixed a bug with checkpoints and the bandit fights.
  • Fixed a bug where the original Atziri would still block movement after she had split into mirror forms and she was no longer there.



Embarrassing.

After years of "developing":
- no pvp
- no auction house but shitty "trade chat"
- no progress or even info on fixing desync
- shit drops (drop rate)

but more and more cosmetic items, seems like GGG has got plenty of time / ressources to implement new skins over and over again.

Wish I never had spent 500+ $ to support this game hoping anything will get better.

Funny how you transfer your opinion into some kind of general opinion. Of all the things you listed i want them to fix desync, pvp seems pointless and ah/shit drops would probably ruin the game!

 Get real, POE.XYZ is not an auction house but just a web site to make finding an item easier, you still have to track down the seller through trade chat. It's been well over a year since Chris alluded to an official trade system that would revolve around some kind of public stash for sellers to place their WTS items in and that it would most likely be web browser accessible so we won't need to load PoE and log into the game servers just to buy new gear. Sadly, it doesn't look like GGG is in any hurry to get it operational any time soon (GGG is making a mistake here. I know, nothing new about that). Your point is valid that the GGG employees that are graphic artists are not coders and as such it is easier to create more superficial bling and MTAs (and more desirable for GGG as that's their revenue stream) than the hard complicated work of a game engine coder to fix serious long standing game play problems such as the big D, a public stash auction house, or overhauling the orb drop rates and gear as we level up (item progression buffs).

 By not doing any serious work and fixing known problems that are of the "ocean" size to cross at least GGG knows that none of the elite players (many 80+ level builds) will be complaining that GGG made changes that ruined their build. Then again, we don't know yet what Chris is alluding to when he stated that the August 1.2 patch will include something to help new players. If it's just a little more tutorial type info for newbie hand holding then it won't help the rest of us struggling 99% of PoE loyalists.

 GGG is at a point in PoE development where they need to make some pretty significant buffs in crafting orb drop rates of the ones that we currently are starving of (fusings, chances, scourings, alchs, chisels) to jump start our ability to "craft" (if RNG gambling can even be called that) more often. If GGG continues to do nothing then the 99% loyalists are really going to be disillusioned even more to the breaking point and we will see a mass exit of players or a major drop in time played per week. The real question is whether GGG foresees this or even cares and allows this to happen. If it's the latter then PoE will need to be renamed PoD = Path of Disillusion. I guess Dominic was right after all that our attempts to play our build to level 100 and be freed from exile are all an illusion.

Awkward reward slot, since we already need this Quest for CwDT gems.
With 2 or 3 CwDT sets on 1 character and also using Echo, we now have to grind 2 additional characters for access to A3 merciless.

I don't really comment on forums because I quite frankly think that most cases its just wasted time and the developer would do whatever the fuck they want. This became apparent to me after I read some of the forum posts (Mostly the countless forum posts related to fixing trading and drop rate). The only reply from any admin would be "it's coming " or "we are planning to fix it soon" or Whatever non-sense. They seem to really actively ignore these posts or try to just appease the masses for the time being. Quite frankly they are being very dishonest and I think that for me was the breaking point. I just stopped playing this game in hopes that maybe just maybe the trading is fixed ... just that the rest could wait ... It seems like trading never really left alpha. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING TO "TRADE" IN THIS GAME. Please GGG take a step back stop being so involved in your own bullshit and start actively supporting the people who literally bought this game into existence. I am sorry if I am a bit harsh but it just saddens me to see a great game like this slowly dying away. The only reason which stopped me from dishing out 500 $ into this game was because I knew about this game after it was released and now that I played it and experienced the countless MAJOR UNFORGIVING FUNDAMENTAL FLAWS this game has and the developer's attitude towards it. I feel supporting GGG would be a complete waste on my side and really hypocritical. There are LOADS of developers out there who just wish to get a game published and the level of communication/support they show towards their audience is truly something worth supporting. Please GGG don't lower your standards fall any lower I mean really people were not waiting for 6+ month for a Brazil cosmetic item....I had to check the date on my computer just to make sure this wasn't april's fool. Simply shameless !
Disappointing patch as usual. PoE patches dont fix or add anything to the game, they`re just ways to announce microtransactions.

Almost nothing useful in this patch except the two new skill gems. The "balancing" changes are a joke, seems like this game has reached perfection long time ago...now it only needs a couple skill gems once in a while, and tons of microtransactions.

Geeeez, the QQ is strong here...
ppl seem to forget that this is just a small patch (and a nice one at that), the 1.2 (wich is the big one) will first arrive in mid-late august, then there will be more game content and the new 4month leagues.
