is this build noobfriendly ? i just started playing and do not wanna end up with a wrong skilled char at lvl 70 so i have to restart ( not alot of time to play ) so i wonder if its possible to play that as a noob ? (esp. cos of gear)

There are other builds that work better for beginners but since Flameblast works great without any gear you won't encounter any problems even if you can't afford the uniques. It's just that for the build to reach its potential and for you to become as tanky as I am in those videos you really need those items.

You'll still be tankier than most other builds though so starting with this build is fine.

This may be a stupid question but is there a trick or something to get that 2+2 link because I'm pretty sure if it gets 4linked you cant use fusings again and if you reach the point that you have expensive gear it would suck to have to replace it just for that.

It's only that way for 5l in a 5s item and 6l in a 6s item iirc. It might have been that way for 4l as well but only for a short while until people complained. I removed a 4l and made it inot a 2l 2l with fusings so I'm 100% sure it works.
how did 1.2 change your build?

More damage, higher chance to ignite and easier access to aoe nodes. Most of the damage is burning damage so not taking Inner Force is a viable option.

Alright thanks, I knew about it from seeing people trying to 6L and I assumed it worked the same way for items that have max 4sockets. Anyway I started on Beyond with this build and just finished normal without much trouble until the end of a3 when phys dmg was too much, wanted to ask if it's worth taking the block passives early since I don't have access to any of the uniques yet. Currently my build looks like this and I was aiming for hp/es wheel to the east.

I think ignoring damage and block in favour of more life is the way to go. Make sure you upgrade your flasks and roll them for instant heal.

If you can get a high armour chest then that could help. Playing it safe staying behind either a Searing Bond totem or Decoy totem should make surviving a bit easier.

Once you get a 4l with Ele prolif the Beyond monsters will be much easier to handle. Just pick up as much life as possible until then and try to survive.

I am playing as a shadow.. took the build you posted and optimized the pathing a little.. 1 less point & +8% Fire Node and +the Coldhearted Calculation node..

http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgYARXyXl_v1tDjlGYw2pLFVS-WOYeKdYyaVXfIWvw5ID6sRlm1sUzV_xgceNj2btaKjlS6dqiLqwfPw1WKsbIzaPYIelSBJUbTFCSHbC2sXLR8egRuXvOpMs0uNUg3AVEV-Kw2XlQQH_xxqQwj0DlxCS1JTg9tq-oXFPV9Vxt--OlismPfX8Wx0VZuhNtghsF8qj0ZJGzT3HRSnCCqNl4X60riTna7sVS6UfuI26evuEmnnC6mVJKrjaprgKPoXHBhlJ2E1gBZvRZ2Cx3F5BulRYFNS-egMffO-EH_Gng==

so far pretty great!

my question is.. why CwS instead of CwDT?
EDIT: forget it, read the guide again.. but still, i still think that you can take more damage then get stunned, am i wrong?

have you thought about using mindspiral? 150 mana and 10% dmg to mana looks awsome.
