[GUIDE] Dual Piscator's CoC

i got the point. my suggestion kills fps, but try to swap arc with chain. it should anihilate, at least it worked for me. it lets the barrage chain, with all 8 projectiles, and for the additional hits you get more fireballs and arctic breath projectiles out, which will chain as well. as i said it annihilates every party member fps wise, but its devestating.

Where it says that ele dmg dsnt affect on spells ?. Spells has ele dmg, so ele dmg its for weapons / spells which makes ele dmg like the mods are on e.g., a weapon: lightning, cold and fire. This aswell affects on e.g. discharge cos it dsnt says ele dmg on weapons, it says ele dmg, nothing more after that mod, so this means general.

You're just looking at the elemental damage part on the bonus, when what matters is the "attacks made with this weapon". Spells are not attacks, therefore don't benefit from this bonus.

Haven't checked the build, but I know that you can get better wands than this for about 1 chaos. Sure they'll have no accuracy, but you can get that from other items, whereas spell damage is harder to come by and much more important.

Stop typing and check the link, also check the concept / term of ele dmg: ele dmg its about all what makes ele dmg, NO MORE. Of this weapon, this measn not ltierally this weapon, its this weapon gives this and u are benefited from that XXX ele dmg % if you are wearing this wand, NO MORE.

I just had to read the title of what you linked to know what it is talking about, and it is not the same modifier as the one on the wand. Maybe you should stop typing and read what the wand actually says :

"Attacks with this weapon have 1xx% increased elemental damage."

Attacks

If it was just "1xx% increased elemental damage" you would be right, but the "attacks made with this weapon" part means that the bonus to elemental damage only applies to... guess what... attacks with the weapon.

Clearly says that it does not apply to spells, and this fact takes priority over the "elemental damage" part.

Try something, equip no weapon and any spell somewhere on your gear. Check the damage in the stats screen. Now equip the wand. Check the damage again. Has it changed ?
Wand 3 sockets, so i sox to there 3 gems and one of them the skill, nonsense of mod. If i make a skill to my 6L chest my wand makes the rest by the special mod ocs im dealing dmg with THAT WAND which im wearing up.

I barely understood you but I assume you think that I meant only gems socketed in the wand benefits from the mod. Of course this isn't the case. Attacks can be socketed whereever you want and benefit from the mod of the wand.
They still have to be attacks, and of course they have to be usable with wands. Basically frenzy, power syphon, barrage, elemental hit. Any other skill doesn't benefit from the mod.

There is a misunderstanding here. I know the piscator wep ele dmg does not affect the spells, but the attack rating makes a big difference against other wands. The proc is massive and you proc the CoC almost every time you shot.

I need to update the guide for a shadow and better gear I got thorough the league. In the mean time I am trying to get better wands but it is hard with the roll I want.

It works, definitely, but I still think that any other CoC wand would be better.
Piscator is at least 10c on standard. For <20c (2 wands) right now I could get wands that have 22% and 54% increased spell dmg, not to mention that both have increased lightning damage.

Let's say a regular wand proc 8/10 times, and piscator's 10/10. This is probably generous. Let's say the spell used does 100 damage for easier calculations, and that we go from 150% incrased spell dmg to 220%.

So, 100 * 0.8 * 2.2 = 176 dps for the rare wands, vs 100 * 1.5 = 150 dps for the piscator's.
It's obviously a bit more complex in the actual game, but I think the point still stands.

Your build is fine, nothing wrong with that, but by using Piscator's you're actually gimping yourself. I guess it is ok if you found 2 piscator's, but it is a weird decision if you have to buy them, as you can achieve better damage for cheaper.
