it has just 2% less Life but more energy shield already eldtrich battery and uses 6 points less, BUT got no Iron Reflexes.

Would you say valide?

Because Damage Over time also effects Desecrate?

Why wouldn't you? Is the scaling on it that bad? Does the Ground effect Chaos Damage go away when you DD? I couldn't say really, as I have yet to use it as anything but a way to get zombies with a "gets the hand me down gear" Alt Summoner.

I think OP take damage over time nodes to up the damage for burning effect of detonate dead.

But IMHO, it is a waste of points. If you plan to make it an endgame build using doryani's catalyst, damages nodes are useless.

The interesting thing with DD's is it scale with high level endgame maps.

Take for example the build of Exalton (DD's CI), he took only 6 or 7 points as dps, and in endgame maps, clean speed is insane.

I am level 70 with it actualy. I decided to put only 3 points to increase burning damage and the rest for tanking ability.

how can he be capped on resists with that gear- when it appears all hes using is purity of fire?
why take iron reflexes without evasion gear or even running grace?

i'm thinking maybe his character only survived because he was always in a party :/

No, he had significantly better gear during the race. For example, he had Windscream boots for
the +1 and then a set of really good rings/amulets and gloves.

He was able to do solo play no problem. He got obvious benefits in a team but his gear was good enough to solo 78's maps unchallenged.
