Normally, I skip these longer races (I don't have enough playing time to be remotely competitive). I will give this one a whirl. Not for the prizes, but for the combination challenge of Ambush and Invasion. This seems like a lot of fun.

i think it's a good alignment of event, prizes, free participation and sparkly charity legacy effect without being at all superficial or insistent on commercialising. props to all involved.
