[2.0] THOR'S RAINBOWNUKE: DO ALL MAPS, UBER ATZIRI, AND EXPLOSIONS!

Well I think i found about the limit of what my build can facetank and hope to survive. -max GMP vulnerability Colosseum... holy shizballs that map did a lot of damage:

Spoiler

I didn't die on that map, but I was pushing it far harder than I should. I should have worn Saffel's and just used Lightning Strike rather than leaping into everything on the map like I normally do.

Video coming soon. Skipped Daresso fight because... well... it's GMP -max vulnerability Daresso and I've only fought Daresso like once or twice in his regular form. Didn't feel like getting 1-shot

Here's the video. Finally got the sound to work.

Still can't believe the damage output on that map... first time I've ever felt like 8.6K ES wasn't really enough.

Yeah, that's insane to say the least and I personally woulda popped Vaal Discipline right before going in there, but even so...yup. Physical damage on the higher end maps is extremely high, even worse with Vulnerability and you lucked out on not dying right there at that part. O_O I also agree that Leap Slam is not always a good idea as well...can be, but not like that. :P

Still, good job on getting through most of the map...have yet to be able to take my builds beyond 78s-79s with my unlucky drops.
In hindsight the reason I misplayed that map was that I forgot about the "monsters cannot be stunned" mod. If that mod is on the map, leap slamming into them as I was doing is very dangerous.

If that mod is not on the map, you basically stun everything which gives you enough time to have your molten strike projectiles hitting before you yourself are being hit.

Why empowering haste instead of discipline? I thought stacking es as much as possible is crucial nowdays with all these huge damages form monsters.
I've tried to play around with the 5 EC + 5 PC now for a couple days and found it changed the IC to be a lot like the old IC, only that you had to take more damage (about 2-2.3k or so) for the CWDT to proc, with the IC proccing on 5 EC I got a 3.7 second IC and with 4 EC I had 3.1 second IC.

I've changed now to play around with the 3EC+3PC to see how well it competes against the 5EC version. First thoughts on my current build: I have of more damage and about 600 more ES, so I'm excited to try maps (I'll do that tomorrow). Right now I'm sitting on 8k ES and my Arc does 367-5620 damage. With 5EC+5PC I had 7.45k ES and Arc did something around 250-4350 damage per cast

I feel that lowering the level of CWDT is the most "profitable" way of using Immortal Call now, you just use the IC you get now and try to get it proc as often as possible, with a low lvl CWDT, this is possible.

E: Also I was thinking of finally letting go of Coordination and maybe just lowering the level of my Haste a bit. I would use the points to either get one +30 dex node or just get more ES/Spell damage with 1 point and use the 2 points to go for the jewel socket near Faith and Steel to get the attack speed back and maybe add some spell damage.

2nd E: I just rolled this beauty
and now I am definitely letting go of my coordination, I am able to drop my haste from lvl21 to 19 and play with that jewel, probably should yolo ex that for spell dmg too. Would be the dream!

I think it's because I thought I needed to put the higher reservation auras in the same link as my level 4 Enlighten, but I just ran the numbers and I think it looks like I might be able to put Discipline in there.

So it's just an oversight on my part... will change it up and test later tonight...

I'll probably switch it up and test what it's like with all my defensive auras are linked with empower, e.g.:
6L = Empower/Enlighten(4)/Discipline/Purity of Fire/Purity of Ice/Purity of Lightning

4L = Enlighten(3)/Haste/Wrath/Herald of Thunder

How crucial are the increased flask effect nodes? I'm currently specced into that now but I'm thinking of swapping those 3 points in to get 12% attack speed on gloves (replacing the master craft for strength with a +30 strength node) and investing the remaining 2 passive points to get an additional jewel slot.

Wanted to get everyone's thoughts on how essential the flask effect nodes are, especially for end game maps. Thanks.
The flask effect nodes are entirely optional. I like having them because they really help in 79+ -max maps and maps with multiple "Monsters deal 100%+ damage as {element}" mods.

I think they are overall a fairly low priority, however. I'm already running 7 jewels so I decided to take the flask effect nodes instead of an 8th jewel.

Got myself some new jewels today. Too bad I got pretty unlucky with the yolo exalts but I still like em. A huge spell damage boost from some of these! I hit 8k ES now too.
