Playing melee 1h self found is viable though, just have to stack flat physical rolls.

Your final setup has two reduced manas and you don't recommend it as a quest reward at all?
They do not drop often either and without them you are stuck running 1 60 or 2 40s when you're down in the bottom left of the tree.

I did find a cwdt in normal docks corruption area last night but I sure wouldn't build a character planning on that.

Nice presentation,i enjoyed it a lot,not only helps new players coming along,but it reminded me of some of the things i forgot to apply to my char :)i hope i see more in the future,really well done :)

In invasion, many of those items you have "self found" would go for an exalt+ each.

Why do things go over an exalt in price? Because finding one of those items, is about as rare as getting an exalt.

Are you telling me you beat the rng 10:1 for a build of the week? Through sheer willpower?

Nice build. I go with a Staff Duelist in the race though. Will be fun for sure.
Good walkthrough, but the items rise questions. Especially since all pieces of rare armor are based on top white items.
Finding a rare with good stats is, um, rare but getting all good stats on top base items... Chris knows something about this game that most people don't.

Oh, and I saw some somments like "this is fine if you know what to do". Guys, please share that knowledge!

Ok for those who question. In skill tree taking Berserking 6 wasted points, Diamond skin 2 wasted points, melee physical damage instead of some attack speed and projectile damage in starting area, taking blood drinker, taking increased AOE 2 wasted points, attack speed from bandits 1 point, Templar endurance charge 1 point because you can take from merc bandits. Also point blank and Iron grip not taken.
Skill gems are bad because 2 merc act 3 fixture of fate rewords.
Gem combination Molten Strike, Melee Physical Damage, Multistrike, Melee Splash, Blood Magic very bad becouse it benefits only initial hit. For no trading swap melee physical for wed and melee splash for lmp. If you trade use Molten, GMP, CON, MULTI, BM.
Gear is cheated because with current drop rate its not possible to find best base items with 6 suff/aff at lvl 72
