Path of Exile - Wiki site

Curious that this thread has been semi-necro'd (is that the term for it?), when another post went up today regarding the updating/creation of a wiki by Silva.

I supported the idea casually -- I do believe we need, desperately, a comprehensive source of game information that is not the forum. It has worked relatively well for closed beta, but come open and release, I think it unfair to expect players to dig and scrounge through the mass of posts here.

I also encouraged Silva to touch base with Samantha, because, well, Samantha's very nice and she's our CM and the two aren't necessarily inexorable.

I'm not sure what Chris' current stance is, but...it just seemed a good idea to me.

So do we have multiple threads saying the same thing here? Which IS our existing best wiki?

I know I'm late to the thread but yesterday I posted this exact same topic, so far I have started on the passive skill tree page, and listing all of the weapons with nice little pictures! I can't wait for this wiki to come together. Definite thanks goes out to everyone who is helping!

EDIT: Sorry Charan hadn't seen your post, silly phones! Anyway at the moment the best existing Wikia is at en.pathofexilewiki.com , I would also love to get in touch with Samantha because I have lots of questions and their answers shall go on the wiki for everyone to know(:

Good to hear that there's actual progress going for the wiki pages! The initiator wasnt here for some weeks now, perhaps running out of time...

I have less time to spend too now, but I'll take a look and maybe update at least the new class into "my" part (de). ;)

Thinking about and dont know how useful it would be to implement items and such things, they change stats and also the graphics very frequently this days... good improvement for the game - but heavy load on updating content pages.

Given we are due for ANOTHER skilldrasil shakeup in a few days, I think it best to hold off on certain details until Open Beta anyway. No reason not to get a nice framework going, though.

so given we have another thread started regarding wiki endeavours and the original poster of this has been absent since November last year, I believe it should be okay to lock this one to avoid further confusion. If there's any information or links in this thread you want to retain, please grab it today. I'll also send the OP a message just in case he does come back and wonder why his great thread was locked.
