Its so sad that people here are crying about players buying their kills and blaiming GGG for it.
GGG made an awesome challnge! You should blame those kill buyers, not GGG. It just amazes me how worked up people get about it. GGG please dont listen to these whiners, you did nothing wrong. You guys compare it with buying a gold medal from an olympian? Well are you gonna blame the people organizing the olympics for that? |

So now , from an announcement it turns out to be the most annoying arguement of the year lol.
Thing is we cant avoid RMT and i think GGG did their best to minimize it. I always being envy of those one who already achieved 100 and owned godly gear in stash, I also pissed off myself for being hard working for already 8 months and still unable to afford a shav, for spending almost 500$ support. Sometimes we pissed off, but surely still love to stick to this game. Stop caring about other issues, care ur joy. IGN: DEVIANGE

SOTV was in the pipeline for what, 4+ months? Its next to impossible that no one could come up with a way to prevent contest kills from being sold in that amount of time, so we have to assume that kill selling was intended or that they just dont care. Either way, disappointing.

A kill should only count toward the 50 first if a certain a mount of damage to the boss was done.
This would still allow Havoc and Mors to sell kill but would discredit most people buying it. I enjoyed the Havoc vs Mors, Atziri race but now this is ridiculous. All those that got kills thanks to them are just sissies who can't handle real challenge. This is the most pathetic action I have ever seen in PoE and GGG not acknowledging the problem is even worse. |

Isn't that the whole point of a competition? To compete against each other. To not help those you're competing with but instead try to beat them? As for the competition itself, I don't really see the point of the complaints. It should've been obvious well in advance at what crowd this competition was aimed. The idiocy is to make such a challange like the first 50 player receive .... IF you make such a challange then perhaps the first or the first 3 players. But ggg loves streamers and selling people. the first give much popularity and selling peoples gives people with money but without skill and time a good chance and ggg much money from such people to pose with all microtransactions they can buy. so its for ggg and the streamer or first kill players a win win situation. Awesome. I called it at the start of the leagues that havoc will get the first kill in invasion and there will be a massive outrage because of something. Then he killed her and nothing much happened to my dissapointment but there he is, delivering controversy like a boss. Sometimes I think that he's just a master troll playing the forums, playing GGG and getting them views.
