World first Ambush Atziri kill

I'm not saying my spec isn't great, cheap and effective for the fight. I'm saying put my spec in 10 other peoples hands and chances are 9 won't be able to replicate what I did. It's a fairly hard fight to execute still.

I see no reason a bunch of other specs right now cannot succeed on this fight yet they haven't. Flameblast in particular is so strong and I think it would go pretty well against her.

I'm glad and impressed he did it without uber gear. Gives me hope that I might have a chance at killing her myself though I have no delusions of grandeur of being one of the first 50. I hardly, if ever trade, and there aren't any Alpha's in the guild stash.

Yeah, from the videos I've seen it seems that you could kill Atziri without BiS gear. The other people were literally sitting in her attacks, and not even trying leapslam. A good player goes a long way, even in PoE. And a thoughtful build even more.

Not sure how easy it would be on HC though.

What's buggering me though is surely the ones who are flippers must get lucky with a at least OK unique and start from there? Or do they just start with rares?
